The arms are a little bit bigger/chunkier than I expected based on the product images, but I love that they are adjustable so I could use the same style for my two different-sized plates, and I absolutely feel that they are sturdy and safe on the wall. I may end up trying to paint them to match/blend in with the plates, but for now they certainly do the job and I can finally appreciate my beautiful plates without worrying my cats will knock them off of a table display.

The mounting is very visible so unless you plan on hanging your plates more that 6" above eye level the wall mounting is visible and takes away from the plate. If you have a very heavy plate this would work, it is very sturdy, overkill in my opinion.

This product is way over-engineered. It would be better suited to hanging rakes and shovels in your garage than hanging a delicate antique dessert plate. I bet they would hold a good 40-50 pounds. Previous reviews used the word "ugly"; they were not mistaken. This would be OK in my garage, not so much in my mother's dining room.

Worked as expected for what i needed to hang a plate on the wall. The product is nicely adjustable allowing for precise placement.
