Finally got my ding dong working again. These buttons retro-fit into my vintage 1979 doorbell plate perfectly. Nice warm light, easy install. Would buy again.

I went looking for replacement doorbell front door units. What I saw was in the $35 to $75 range. Then I saw these replacement buttons, 2 for $10. I had no problem squeezing out the old ones (75 years) and installing one of these. I won't be around to use the second one, but maybe my son will be. While I was waiting for it to arrive, I polished up the bronze surround for the button and gave it a coat of lacquer. Oh, and this one even has a lighted button.

Like the LED light , very bright. Overall switch was a little deeper than my escutcheon so had to make a recess in my siding to allow room for the terminals on back side. They don't give that dimension in description.

These seemed like nice lights - easy install and they were bright but the first one only lasted a few days and when I replaced it with another led doorbell the second one lasted less than two weeks

This worked out great to replace a 35 year old button on my Nutone intercom door bell. It was a good price and is working well. The product came quickly and is just as advertised.

Button seems to be well made. Button travel is smooth and does not stick. Yellow LED gives it a similar look to an incandescent door bell button.
