Full caveat, I have not actually built these LM1875T chips into an amplifier yet. I have a project for them ready to go, and when I finally build it, I’ll definitely post an update. However, if you are considering buying these, you are already an advanced hobbyist and know what these are for. Your main question is going to be “are these legit?†Without building them into a circuit yet and testing to destruction, I can’t say for certain, but a VERY careful examination of the part I received, compared to known real and non-real chips leads me to believe, with fairly high confidence (for now), that these are the real deal. That is to say, it has all the outward signs of legitimacy. The shape is exactly right, the laser etched part number looks genuine, etc. For a part offered on Amazon, with all the convenience that comes with that, this is worth a shot. 5 stars for now, unless I update otherwise.
