Leave it to Anker to produce a good product at a good price. I needed to hook my mac mini to my Display Port KVM and tried a HDMI to DP adapter, but the video mostly didn't work except after a fresh boot and only until I switched off the mac, so I got this Anker USB-C to DP adapter to try and it works flawlessly!!!

My laptop doesn’t have a DisplayPort, but supports it through the USB-C ports. This adapter let me make great use of the port’s capabilities. I find it’s easy to use, works great, and is appropriately priced.For its vital role in my setup, it serves great and I would recommend it to others.

This works great for my MacBook Pro M1 Pro. Hooking it up to a 1440 (QHD) 144Hz monitor worked fine. The only problem was it would flicker at 144Hz so I had to drop the refresh rate to 120Hz, which is fine. I think the Mac can only get 4k 60Hz but I haven't tried it with a 4K monitor yet. Def worth the money since it's pretty cheap and easy to put in your bag.

Using my display port cable in a pinch was great when troubleshooting a potential HDMI connectivity issue. With all the USB-C multi-port video connection hubs I own, I couldn't believe none had a display port connection. It turned out to be a malfunctioning monitor, but this adapter enabled me to test everything before committing to an expensive purchase.

My mac was not working well with my new ASUS monitor with a regular HDMI cable. Until I got this display port dongle. Everything changed. The display was so much clearer, the colors so much better and I was able to go up to 120 hz refresh which was a nice add.The dongle is good quality, small enough and not annoying, the braided cable is great.
