Bracket is its own template for cut-out, trace the bracket then cut the hole, includes 1 low voltage mounting brackets. Horizontal or vertical mounting, installs faster and costs less than metal brackets, UL/CSA Listed. Protects cable as it runs through the knockouts in metal studs.

Arlington's non-metallic, LV1-1CS, Low Voltage Mounting Brackets are the time and money-saving solution for faster and easier mounting of Class 2 communications, computer and cable TV wiring. The bracket is its own template. Level the bracket on the wall. Then use the bracket a s a guide for the cut out by tracing a line around the inside. Arlington fittings are carefully inspected and our manufacturing process is designed to prevent the possibility of a defective product leaving our plant. In the event any of our products are found to be defective, we will replace them with new product free of charge. The time limit for this warranty is one year following the date of sale or one year after the date of installation, whichever is the earlier date. This warranty does not apply when the product is used for any purpose other than the intended use as described in the Arlington literature. This warranty does not apply when the product is used for any installation which would violate the national electrical code or any code which takes precedence in a particular jurisdiction. Labor is not included.

Sometimes the broadband cable, antennae wire or Cat 5 wires are just not where a person needs them. When my husband passed away I decided to use his clothes closet as a little built-in office, and to move my TV to a new area in the room. I used these wall plates to route wires back through a linen closet and then out into the clothes closet. The location of the wall studs prevented me from just pulling a new cable from the attic, so I used a keyhole saw to make some new openings in the closet walls. These wall plates keep all the wires arranged in a very neat manner, and the large plug prongs fit through with no problem.The mounting bracket was simple to secure to the wall, and has a screw and flipper on each side that you can arrange to best grip your drywall. The cover plates attached easily and securely. I chose to mount mine both horizontally and vertically depending on the best fit for the direction I wanted the wires to run.The product was well made, highly functional, easy to install and very reasonably priced. Quite a nice solution to my cable mess.

Ordered a set of these and they worked just as intended and I really that it got rid of all the wires on my wall from my tvto my PS4 to my receiver. So when I moved a few more than later I ordered another set for the new house. I'm not sure what happened but what I got in the mail was crap, cheap flimsy plastic that wasn't even close to the pictures of the product. I applied for a return and ordered another set, so we will see what happens. I'm still giving 5 stars because the first set I ordered was great, great quality and look, and I understand mistakes happen sometimes. If the third set is messed up as well then it will be one star.

This Cable passthrough wall plate is a good choice if you want to run low volting wiring like speaker wires, camera wires, or tv cables behind your wall. First off, the mounting bracket is excellent and does its job very well. You can mount the white plate without the bracket, but if you want a good, solid, secure mount you should definitely install the bracket. Just mark where you need to cut using the bracket and a pencil, then cut out the hole at the same height as other nearby outlets (be careful not to hit electrical wiring), and slide the bracket into place. The wings swing into place, and two phillips screws lock it in place against the wall. Then take the wall plate and place it with the "chute" facing in or out (I prefer putting it into the wall to save space), and put screw in the included standard out screws. Easy as it gets.One thing I did notice about this set, is that the white wall plate is very thick, and doesn't look exactly like a standard electrical outlet or switch plate. The edges are very thick, and it's got a rough texture. Most outlets are smooth and the edges round off against the wall. If you want it to match your other outlets, pick a different wall plate. That beings said, this one is much more durable than the others that are available. The plastic is very thick and it would take a lot to break it, unlike other which are thin and could be broken from overtightening the screws. If you flip it around and install it with the chute out, it will protect the cable from pinching.

I can pretty much echo the other positive reviews of this product. It is inexpensive, very easy to use, and firmly attaches to your drywall. I used these for a few projects, including mounting 1.6 pound surround speakers , and for speaker wires using . I used these on 1/2-inch drywall and it seems very secure. Just as the pictures show, place it on the wall (use a level to make sure it's, umm..level!)...trace around the inside with a pencil, and then cut out with a drywall saw just outside of your trace marks. I found that I then had to trim a little more to get a nice fit...better to first cut the hole too small than too big! Insert, and tighten the "wings", and you're good to go! Certainly made my projects easier, and look very professional! Highly recommended!

I needed to add a more professional-looking wall panel for some CAT5 drops. Wires sticking out of walls were a real eye sore.In the past, I've added wall plates to wall cut-outs directly using dry wall anchors instead of the normal wall plate screws. While this works, it is tedious placing the holes level, if the anchors don't catch the wall as they should, or if the screws strip the anchors. A real pain.I saw these and decided to give them a try.I drew an outline using a pencil as described in the instructions. I then got a drywall saw and cut out the outline. I only needed to do a few extra minor cuts to the drywall hole to get the bracket to fit. Once it fit in, I just had to tighten the two included screws and the built-in vices clamp on to the opposite side of the wall.Wow! Snug and perfect! Much easier. All I needed to do was attach my new wall plate using its original screws. Perfect and professional-looking!I highly recommend this to any installers or do-it-yourselfer's. Say no to wires sticking out of walls!

Would absolutely buy again. Had to install a low voltage bracket for an HRV. The old control was just mounted in the drywall and was very close to a stud. This bracket fit the bill because the securing levers and bracket design allow install in a tight space. Flexible yet strong.

This product was super easy to install. Installed in 3/16" paneling and will be very easy to reuse when paneling is upgraded to 1/2" drywall. Used this with the Monoprice Keystone Wall plate and everything fit together perfectly!
