I had to return it. What I received did not match the picture which depicts an American style long bell cornet. What I got was the short bell English style with the Shepard crook bend. These two types of instruments sound different. The American long bell is more brilliant and was a staple in New Orleans and dixieland jazz, which was my purpose for ordering this horn.
