What's not to like?All I can say is it's a superb machine!Everything was seamless. From the timely delivery, great packaging and so easy to unpack and easy to operate! The machine is a bit heavy but that's what makes it stable and durable. What i love most is it does not make too much noise!If it keeps performing this way (I've only been usingit for three days but so far it delivers), I will not think twice recommending it to everyone.

I got this primarily to use as a cardboard shredder for all the Amazon boxes we get. I’m using the shredded cardboard as mulch in the garden, and this is doing a fantastic job so far of shredding the boxes into perfect mulch.It’s intuitive to use, reasonably easy to empty (the bin slides in and out easily, but clicks securely into place. There is a lip that traps some of the shredded material a bit though).Occasionally it auto reverses on its own, but that might be due to the material I’m shredding.Finally, this thing is very quiet. I have a 5-page paper shredder and this thing is orders of magnitude quieter than it.I’m very happy with it so far!

If you can get it in the slot without binding this thing will shred it. Paper, paperclips, film, card stock, file folder, cds, credit cards... it barely strains when fully loaded. I used this unit for about 40 minutes at a time for about 3 days now, letting it cool for an hour in-between sessions. It shreds nicely, quietly and efficiently. There is a bit of paper dust after several uses, and stray shreds fall inside the cabinet. But this is a very good value and seems to be holding up well. Without jamming or overheating.. so far. It is a relatively slow process to shred the number of documents I need to dispose of, so I'm still going to schedule a shredder truck. But I'm glad I bought this shredder and I'll get very good use out of it.

I had a paper shredder that they said could grind ten pages at a time. Yeah Right, it was lucky if it could do two and if you used it longer then five minutes it would overheat. Thats the reason I got this Bonsen shredder. This thing is a monster, it doesn't slow down for nothing and never overheats. I had years and years of tax return papers. You know the kind of papers you just don't want to throw straight in the garbage with all your info for people to read. Well, this baby will take care of that. I spent a whole day feeding this thing papers and it had to be 10 or more pages at a time non stop including folders and this shredder buzzed through it no sweat. Great product a little costly but well worth it. Also this is a larger unit, I'd say the size of a standard metal garbage can. So if your tight for space you might not like the size. But if you want to grind your heart away this is the unit to do it with. I think the next thing I'm going to do is grind my own meat and I'll bet it would do it too lol!

For the price, this is an excellent shredder. It is not quite as sturdy and powerful as my old one, but it is good enough.

Instructions are easy to understand, packaging was phenomenal, no complicated buttons to push, appearance is non intrusive, it doesn’t interfere with any thing in my small home. At first, I thought it was overkill on size, price and basically too much of a machine for me. I was WRONG! It’s great! I can’t wait till mail arrives because I can shred all the junk mail right now, no noise, no problems with flyers, etc. Highly recommend this. It also shreds cds and credit cards like butter! The collection basket is huge, it won’t have to be emptied for a long time. Buy this!

I previously have purchased smaller shredders and needed a heavy duty shredder since I have 3 large 30 gallon bags full of paper to shred. So far this little guy has performed perfect without one jam. I've shredded two 30 gallon size bags of papet without any problem. Although it did get a little hot, never shut off. I shredded a couple of CD's and a letter size laminated sheet. Although a little pricey, it's worth it if you have a ton of shredding to do. I also purchased a 3 year warranty just in case. Would definitely recommend.

Well made sturdy build. I had no problem shredding old tax returns, although unit is rated at 24 max sheets I have only tested at 18 sheets and it worked well. Shredder is fairly quiet and easy to operate with only two control buttons forward and reverse.

I’ve had this for nearly a month now, during which time I’ve disposed of a big backlog of old documents. It is on a completely different level than a waste paper basket sized shredder. it’s quiet, never jams and has a big bin that is easy to empty. Well worth the price since this one actually does what I need a shredder to do. Being in an apartment, the fact that it’s about as noisy as a running microwave oven is great, since I can use it at any time without bothering anyone around me.
