Most people won't remember the whole business disagreement that involved the dude in California who makes Sambal Oelek and the guy from whom he leased the property. It got dirty, and people like me suffered the consequences as this marvelous stuff just basically disappeared from grocery store shelves. I tried off brands to no avail. Fortunately, I found a gallon jug right here on Amazon. But where to store it?The big-ass jug sits in my fridge, as does this (full) squeeze bottle. A squeeze or two gives me exactly what I'm looking for, without all liquid or all solid. It's wonderful. I grow a lot of peppers for fermenting, and these bottles are excellent for squeezing the end product to my heart's content.

Love the compact size. We buy large ketchup and BBQ bottles and they're a bit unwieldy to carry to the patio or to bring to the table. These hold a great amount of sauces and are easy to use and ready to fill. Good stuff!

Yes, I know these are all over the place and why am I excited about them? They solved a messy problem. I bought a half gallon bottle of vegetable oil and discovered that the only place tall enough to store it is a cupboard under the kitchen counter. Every time I needed a tablespoon of oil, I had to drag the bottle out, unscrew the cap, get oil all over the counter and my hands, put the cap back on, and probably drop the bottle while putting it away. It’s a nuisance, but also the most economical way to buy oil.With the squeeze bottle, the oil lives in the cupboard with canned goods and condiments. I can reach up and grab it whenever I need a tablespoon of oil. There is still a little messiness—the twist top still gets oil on my fingers, but it’s a small price to pay for the greater convenience.

I wanted something simple and plain to hold my dish soap on the sonk, and not take up the room that a usual bottle does. This is space friendly, neat in appearance and functional. I like it better than the label bottle from the manufacturer of the soap.
