Introducing the Byson Modular Sliding Rail Kit for Meat Hanging – an easy-to-install DIY solution for building ceiling-mounted meat hanging systems.

This modular kit is ideal for building hanging systems of any size for meat processing, making it perfect for transferring meat from loading areas or kill rooms to walk-in coolers. It's also an excellent choice for storage in refrigerated spaces like cold rooms, walk-in coolers, or refrigerated trailers.

Complete DIY Modular Kit

This kit comes with:

  • 1x 1m (3.25ft) anodized aluminum channel rail
  • 2x support clamp sets with stop chain. Installed at ends of successive channel rails (ie join points), the support clamps enable the modular approach to connect multiple kits and build longer systems
  • 2x single meat hooks

It provides all the necessary components for a quick and straightforward installation, whether for a standalone 1m length rail system, or for joining multiple 1m kits into longer rail systems.

Supports 400-500lb load (evenly distributed) per 2 Support Clamp Sets.

Mounting hardware not provided, as dependent on site conditions. Common hardware includes 2 x 5/16" (M8) bolt (length as per site conditions) + nut sets and 4x washers per Support Clamp Set.

Installation guidance:

  1. On outside roof of cooler, position cross support beams (not provided) perpendicular to main runs of rail
  2. Hold rails in place against inside ceiling
  3. Position support clamps on rails, and fix to cross beams (will require drilling through ceiling)

Installation tips for modular building of larger systems:

  • Avoid having more than 32" of spacing between successive support clamps to ensure load capacity is maintained
  • Ensure tight/snug abutting of adjacent Rail lengths and Bends at join points to promote free sliding of loaded Channel meat Hooks along rail system once installed
