I freaking LOVE these gloves! 🎣â„ï¸ I bought them specifically for ice fishing, and they have been a game-changer. I needed something that allowed me to use my phone without taking my hands out in the freezing cold, and these gloves delivered! The internal liner is sewn in, and the fleece makes it super cozy when you take your fingers out. Plus, the added pocket on top for a small hand warmer is pure genius! These gloves are well-insulated, the exterior seems waterproof, and they keep my hands toasty warm. All around, a fantastic glove! 🧤🔥

Wow, these are FANTASTIC! My fiancé has gotten a lot of use out of these over this winter. The versatility of having gloves OR mittens is something I’m quite jealous of actually. They are a sleek tan color and have a simplistic style that looks grown-up and professional. They have held up very very well to our rough lifestyle and boy are they warm! The longer length really makes a difference to keep your wrists comfortable in icy weather, even with his long arms, my fiancé is always covered and doesn’t worry about having his wrists pop out while working.

I ordered these back in the summer months when they became available as Vine items for review; had hoped to have had cold weather by now to test them, but no.So, without having tested these mitten/gloves in cold weather, I can say that I LOVE the Korean War era styling, the big gromets on the cuffs with carabiner to hold the pair together so neither glove gets lost. The pair I got is khaki-and-black colored and I suggest anyone who cares anything about how they look while wearing winter hand protection choose this color scheme. While wearing these Shamu-shaped mitten/gloves, I was able to operate the zippers and get the glove feature operable. I feel confident I could operate simple survival machines that require finger dexterity while wearing these.As for how these mitten/gloves protect from the elements - water, wind, snow, ice - time and use will tell. Because that remains in question, Four not Five Stars. If these fail this winter, and I still have digits I can use for typing, I'll update this review.

Just got back from my deer hunt. I loved these. They were fan-freaking-tastic. In the coldest part of the day, riding out on the side by side, I kept my fingers in the full mitten mode with heat packs tucked by my fingers. When I was glassing, I kept them like that. When I needed to pop them out to work on my phone, the touch screen parts worked flawlessly. (The touch screen part on the mitten was a bit too bulky to be accurate.) If you leave the zippers unzipped, your fingers stay warm enough, but you can transition from mitten to nimble fingers that can work a bow or trigger in less than a second. And the fact that they have magnets so no noisy velcro or snaps that can startle things is perfect. Love these. Love these a lot.

Definitely full protection, and for extreme weather. The design details, and craftsmanship that went into these gloves is very impressive: full gauntlet covering, serious insulation, quality leather palm, waterproof, pocket to hold hand-warmer, mitt transforms to glove (even the thumb has its own fold-away cover), magnets to hold the mitt covers back out of the way, touch screen capable all throughout, synches, clips, etc. Somebody knew what they were doing.I look forward to using them this winter. …Unfortunately, if I do use them, I’ll be borrowing them from my wife, due to a sizing mix-up. — You see, I usually get XL size gloves, but the size chart measurement indicated size Large. Against my better judgement, I went with the chart. …And indeed, they are a bit too snug to be fully comfortable when grasping. Rats! —But my wife is happy, cuz they fit her just fine. …I guess it’s appropriate she should get the best gloves, since she’s the one with Reynaud’s.
