MATTERS NEED ATTENTION：

  • Saw off the appropriate length of steel pipe, need to remove the port burrs.
  • It is recommended to apply lubricating oil during assembly (the steel pipe must be inserted to the end).
  • After tightening the nut to the pressure point, then tighten the nut by 1/2 turn.
  • When purchasing pipe fittings, consider the application as this will affect the material type, shape, size and desired durability. Fittings are threaded or unthreaded and come in many shapes, styles, sizes and schedules (wall thickness)

Using these for oil pressure gauges on engines. I got tired of trying to find the individual fittings in my garage so I bought some sets. The quality is good, they don't leak when used correctly, fit an 1/8" line copper line, and work well.

I am working on upgrading my air compressor setup and needed so "Olives" and the matching nuts. I could buy them locally for $4 for 3 olives and $4 for 5 nuts...or I could get this set and have options in case I needed to rejoin two pieces of solid line.I used them with Aluminum tubing and they sealed beautifully. I was able to add an inline cooler and now don't get any water in my tank or into my 3 stage filter dryer setup. This should make painting and sand blasting much better!

These compression fittings are thin walled from china not quality USA fittings would use in an emergency temporary situation only I bought quality American fittings instead the old saying you get what you pay for

los conectores son de muy buena calidad pero los que me enviaron son de menor tamaño, ya que yo los pedi de 1/2 pulgada por lo cual no los pude utilizar en la reparacion prevista
