Love this coin holder because it holds all coin denominations (I have seen - and owned - many that do not have a place for pennies!) It fits perfectly in the middle console and the lid is removable, which makes it easier to use because of its accessibility. I gave it 4 stars because I wished it had come with a Velcro mounting strip or an adhesive strip of some kind. I used something like this to adhere it to the inside “wall†of the console.

This seems to be a great, compact coin holder. I got it to clean up the pile of coins in a dashboard cubbyhole in my car. I filled each stack about halfway, so I have some change on hand, but still have room to stow more. It is easy to insert and remove coins, and the spring tension seems like it will work well.There are a few issues you should consider before purchasing. Another review mentioned that some of the bottom screws were not fully recessed, leaving potential for surface scratching, depending on how you use it. I found the same with mine. The detail product photo shows flat-top screws being used, but mine have rounded tops, so they don't sit as flush as they could. In my case, only one screw seems to extend beyond the bottom surface.Next is the lid. It does appear that there is a notch to hold the lid closed, but the lid is not tight enough for it to work. It does not securely snap shut as you might expect. All you have to do is lightly brush the lid the right way, and it opens.Finally, be aware that there are multiple color choices for the plastic pieces between the springs and the coins. This is visible through the translucent portion of the outer box. I chose gray, because I didn't want it to stand out too much. Now I wish I would have gone with a more visible color. It is hard to tell where the gray plastic ends and the silver coins begin. Red or some other bold color would have made it much easier to tell at a glance when a stack is getting low, without emptying it.I still gave the product five stars, because none of these issues will really impact the way that I plan to use it. But you should be aware of them, in case they might be a problem for you.

I appreciate the size and specific/assigned spaces for each coin; however, my cuticles took a serious beating from some of the spaces while loading coins. Since it works with a spring/pressure, you've got to press down slightly and slide the coin into place... this is when my cuticle was frequently scraped and cut on the openings. I really like the clear view of the upper part of the holder as well as its lid. Use caution when loading coins, if your fingers are on the smaller side.
