Working great, once you get it installed. My old sensors were different, but I was able to mess with the wires and figure it out. Customer service is responsive, but I still had to figure it out on my own. I wish it would open and close a little faster, or have a setting for it, but it works safely. I have a horseshoe driveway, so once my other one goes out, I'm gonna replace it with this same one.

Shipping was quick and packaging was good enough to protect during shipping. All parts came.Instructions were good, 90% straightforward for lay persons. Few points were missing but commonsense filled in the blanks.The tracks were easy to install. And the screws fit snuggled.I have a metal sliding gate so it fit well into the frameMy gate is about 12 feet wide and 6 feet high.While the manufacturer states to keep racks intact, I had to cut the last one to fit my gate. The racks do have a metal core and I had to use a reciprocating saw since it was taking too long manually.This is a good thing to know that the core is metallic.I spent some time prepping the area to install the motor and casted some concrete. When it set it was not as level as initially checked, but this did not affect the installation.You use two sets of nuts to fasten. The bottom one can be adjusted to counter any leveling issues.I found the plastic parts of the motor to be flimsy such as the housing cover as well as the guard over the turning wheel. Also the manual mechanism where you insert the key and pull out was also flimsy.The electrical installation was easy. I did use a 20 amp twin wire and so pulled out the connector first and screwed in the wires and then re inserted into the gates motherboard. It was not easy to do without removal. The connector was easy to remove.The remotes worked out of the box.I estimate this may last 2-3 years before the parts get worn out. However at this price it is not bad .

I almost never review products, but felt I should leave one especially for people who have been burned by these previously. I've owned 2 prior relatively cheap replacement gate openers, both of which failed within 2 years. The improvements made since those models are significant. I can't stress enough how important it is to have a track instead of a chain drive. Quieter, more consistent performance and doesn't rust without constant maintenance. Make sure your gate has a horizontal bar that can hold the tracks and is long enough to allow full opening and closing. The big problem with prior models was the magnet system for stopping gate motion were always finicky and required constant adjustment. This one's system works flawlessly. The addition of slow start and stop should significantly reduce stress on the motor. Easy access controls for these settings as well as autostop sensitivity when encountering an obstacle are also important. Remote control range is exceptional. I've owned for about 6 weeks with no problems, so time will tell, but so far an excellent product

After 4 months of use, I've found that the remote does not function beyond 20 feet, not the advertised 100 feet. It works 100% of the time at 15 feet, and about 70% of the time at 20 feet....and ZERO% of the time beyond 20 feet.
