Purchased to slice strawberries and bananas to make dehydrated treats and it works great! The consistent size means they dehydrated evenly and this speeds up the process quite a bit.

I’ve had 0 issues with wires breaking. It cleans easily, it saves time. I mostly use it for eggs, but have also used it for strawberries, bananas, mushrooms, and hot dogs.

Really like this a lot! The base is steel and very sturdy. The top part is plastic, I’m not sure why. I would have given it a 5 star had that been steel too.It cuts very well. It feels like something my grandmother would have had in her drawer when things were truly made to last. (Minus the plastic part) Absolutely worth it! :)

This thing works very well for bananas. All slices are the same size and just perfect for freeze drying.

I use this thing for everything. I recently got a freeze dryer and this gadget cuts my fruit into perfectly uniform shapes. It easy to use and takes up no space.

Great product. Well made. It is easy to use and clean. The wires are heavy enough not to break and I use a new tooth brush to clean with hot soapy water. Love it.

Definitely a time saver for cutting strawberries, although the wires stretched and lost their shape. This is unacceptable. There is no way to tighten up wires so I’m going to return both of the ones I ordered. Blades would have been a better choice. Soft product like butter or even maybe bananas might work better, but strawberries were a fail after 5lbs of cutting. The white frame with all cracks and crevices are hard to clean after using.
