Love it. I can lock all important papers and organize everything so it's easy to find. There's also enough room for a storage box behind all my files which take up over half of the space. Strap handles are just long enough to make transporting easy.

I got this to use for a "dead box" or what others call a NOKBOX for Next-of-Kin. It's a separate file box that can hold all the important information for when you're gone. Will, Trust paperwork, living will, inventory, titles to properties, last minute instructions. YOu can put some smaller items into the little compartments in the lid. I got a really cheap wallet to hold credit cards and other small documents and put that into one of the compartments. I wanted to sset all that stuff aside so it can all be located and is well organized when the day comes. This will also be portable unlike my regular file cabinet.I used a dozen Pendaflex hanging folders and regular file folders within each and used a label maker to make sure everything was easy to find.I liked this box better than another seller's nearly identical product and ended up returning that and ordering this because this one has two plastic rails that fit over the edge of the box to allow the pendaflex folders to hang from. Without these rails the pendaflexes tend to stick on one side or the other and are not even, difficult to use, and may fall off the edges. There is only one set of rails and you'll need to cut them if you want to use legal size folders so you'll have to decide what size folders you're going to use and stick to it for each box.The combination lock was easy to set. It is only good for keeping out snoopy people it will not provide any real security -- you could just cut the zippers out with a box cutter. And the box is not going to be more than slightly water resistant -- you might be able to protect your papers from a few sprays of water but that's it.

I loved it. I'm the kind of person that like to have everything in its place, including documentation, bills, contracts, manuals, bank information and more. I had before furniture for that, but this time I wanted something more manageable, and this is perfect, and I can lock it!

Item is as expected. I’m not sure how fire resistant this would be. Lock works well, but again is nothing high tech. It’s enough to deter from just opening it.
