Used one of these to power my Eachine Trashcan flight controller after it's onboard Bec died. Works great.Edit: Same BEC went into a wing now. Still working great! Still have a backup in the drawer for another build!Highly suggest.

Ultra small DC-DC converter - by default it outputs 5V but can be set to 12V by soldering a small jumper - I did not test the 12V. First BEC, first 6s battery plug in and this thing blew. The good news is that I confirmed for all of you that it is protected. I had this in front of a DJI Air Unit, a $180.00 component. My heart stopped when I saw the “magic smokeâ€. But to its credit it DID NOT burn up the Air Unit. Very happy about that that’s why I gave it 5 starts even though it burned up. but now I’m leary of the other two. Hope this helps...you decide.

Theres nothing I can add to the excellent, technical review(s) that already exist for this item. Used to power FPV camera off of the flight battery, instead of the FC's integrated voltage regulator.

This is a buck converter and will not give you 12v if using a 2S battery. Very disappointing.

The description of the product is not accurate. As someone else mentioned this is a down converter, not a boost converter. So you won't get 12V on 2S or 3S. 5V works fine, however it was useless for my needs, as I needed 12V on a 2S or 3S.
