HDM210 is a harmonic distortion instrument, which mainly detects the ratio of the fundamental wave to the third harmonic of the sine wave signal. Most of the harmonic problems are caused by the third harmonic. Because the third harmonic is the second highest energy of the fundamental component. Therefore, we are only concerned about finding the third harmonic distortion in formula 1
