I had purchased this and tried to connect it - followed all the directions about downloading the driver and installing. When I connected the device to both the USB A and C ports, it would not work. As I was reading the instructions for a competitive product, I saw where a purchaser had to re-start their computer a few times before it was recognized, so I decided to try the same with this and it worked perfectly! I now have 3 additional monitors connected to my laptop. So if anyone has had trouble getting this device to work after installing the driver and connecting, try re-starting your computer and try to connect it again.I feel very comfortable with the product - has a small footprint, appears very durable and of good quality and works great!! I would highly recommend purchase of this product as it works for both Windows & MAC and is about $20 less than the other similar items.

Purchased this item based off of the reviews! Unfortunately, it did not work at all. When I plugged it in the light would come on, on the splitter box but it wouldn't connect to computer nor display. Tried it several times as well as followed whatever instructions in the manual and even installed the driver from their website. Once installed, still nothing. I ended up returning the item and purchased from a different brand.

1. This graphics card works well when connected via USB-C. Traditional USB does not recognize properly.2. I realized after the fact, this does not support 2 monitors of 24"+ with the expected resolution. A 22" monitor (Max) is needed for the 1080p port, since a 22" displays at 1050.Overall it helps to pull processing from my computer to the external cards, and thankfully I bought 2, which will both work on their own 24" screens. I still use 1 DisplayPort from the Thunderbolt Dock, since it will not display at full resolution on the 1080 option.
