I bought this to help me get into bed as my bedframe and doubled mattress are a little high for me to climb up. Very sturdy. I weigh around 300 lbs and need something that will hold me and not skid along. The top portion is a bit slick, whether I am barefoot, wearing socks, slippers or sandals. I decided I am going to place some non-skid stickers on the top part of this unit. It's fine. Not too awkward or heavy to pick up and I am easily able to shift it where it's safest and most convenient for me to step up onto my very comfy bed.

I love the size of this step. I am 5'2" and wear a size 6 shoe. This step is perfect for me. It might not be deep enough for someone with much larger feet since it is only 10.5" deep. I use it on a rug and it does not slip, however, I tried it on the hardwood floor and it slipped a little. It is very sturdy. I think it would support any weight without bowing. I would definitely buy it again.

This is smaller than I expected but like it says it’s compact. It’s study and does not wobble or tip. It’s pretty low to the ground and light weight so easy to store. I do feel it’s a little to small to do step type classes with it
