Have a computer with a USB2 port and a few USB3 ports. can plug into either, but accessory will not work if connected to the wrong port. Have lots of accessories which need a USB2 port

When you don't have enough USB ports, you gotta get something! Just be aware that the connector *to your computer* is USB-C, not basic USB-A (your regular connector and the rest of the connections on the hub). But it works great, had no problems with peripherals or USB storage drives. Easy winner for regular use and reasonably priced.

I bought 2 of these hubs. 1 worked fine and the other one doesn't work at all. I tried to contact the seller to get a replacement but they did not respond to my message. As a result of posting a negative review, the seller contacted me and issued a refund and said they will also be sending out another item to replace the bad one. I wish they had responded to my first message and not to a negative review but they did make it right. They claimed they were behind because of covid 19 flu.
