Our 24VAC Ultraviolet (UV) lamp is designed to expose returned air to UCV light as air passes through the evaporator coil and adjacent areas, utilizing Ultraviolet-C (UVC) technology that has been used in hospitals for many years to improve air quality for patients. The package includes a 14-inch, two (2) 14W energy-efficient UVC bulbs, a 24VAC ballast with a 6-foot lamp cord for connection to a 110V outlet and a 5-foot cord from the ballast to the transformer, and a magnetic Z-bracket for easy installation without drilling. Emitting 253.7nm wavelength light with 99% efficiency in a single pass, this UV lamp is ideal for air conditioning HVAC systems up to 5 tons.
