About this item

  • Dual Protections: The aquarium temperature controller is equipped with 2 relays to ensure that the plugged heater can be turned off when detected overheating, protecting your fish tank well
  • 2 probes get more reliable: place them in a fish tank but at a distance, the controller will alarm when the temperature difference is over 3 degrees Celsius (5 degrees Fahrenheit), and the App will push a notification to your cell phone at the same time
  • Customize Heating Time: You can determine the heating time from 1 to 72 hours; The controller will alarm you when the time out but the temperature still could not reach the expected level
  • Temperature Setting: 20.0 to 35.0 degrees Celsius or 68.0 to 95.0 degrees Fahrenheit; and the detectable temperature range is minus 40 to 100 degrees Celsius or minus 40 to 212 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Plug and Play: The 1100 W aquarium temperature controller is compatible with most kinds of heaters, you don't need to assemble the product yourself, it is plug and play
  • APP Notification: Pair the aquarium temperature controller with your phone via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and the device will alarm if there is any exception, and the INKBIRD app will push notifications to remind you

I’ve had issues with fish tank heaters failing - or worse - getting stuck on. Like many others, this has almost resulted in fish death. Luckily, I’ve caught it the few times it’s happened to me before fish were lost. After the last time this happened a few months ago, I decided to add an upstream heater control, and found this one quickly as it had fantastic reviews.I like the redundant heat probes with failsafe operation, the 0.1° incremental control, and the Wi-Fi control is really what sold me. It includes a detailed history log so you can go back and see what’s going on with your fish tank over days and weeks. The temperature logging seemed like a neat feature, however, it was really a big hit with me once I got it. It immediately proved its value. I recently installed a new air conditioner in my room, which has allowed me to keep the room at a constant cooler temperature year-round. Previously, I had issues with ick, which I traced back to wildly fluctuating FishTank temperatures due to wild fluctuations in room temperature. So I would keep the fish tank around 80° so it would maintain that temperature when my room would get hotter on hot days. Now, my room stays closer to 74° year round. I was able to balance this new comfortable room temperature with a very comfortable Fishtank temperature, with minimal use of the heaters. I was able to set the unit’s high and low triggerpoints very precisely using the log to avoid inefficient heater use. I settled on 74.5 on the low end and 75.0 on the high-end. The heaters only crank on if I decide to make my room really cold for a while. I know I could never get this type of precision with the old style heater control, and having the temperature log charts is what allowed it to be so easy. So, the Fish are happy, and I’m obviously using less power needlessly driving the heaters.I read a few reviews where people were trying to use this unit strictly as a failsafe for a runaway temperature condition (having the heater itself control the temperature, and hoping this unit would simply turn it off in a runaway condition). This unit and its parameters and alarms are not designed for that. I use it by cranking my heaters up to around 80° - a temperature my tank should never see. Then I let this temperature controller handle it at a more reasonable temperature of 74 to 75°. So even if this unit was to fail “on” somehow (basically impossible), the upstream heaters would still only have a potential to heat up the tank to 80° until their own thermostats would trip off. So it’s basically a triple failsafe at that point.I’m using this with the jinvoo smart app. I think there are a few other apps it will work with. But it paired up right away, and I have many other Jinvoo smart devices, including some of my Fishtank lights, on the same app (on a separate vlan of course!).Last point others have also hit on, make sure the two temperature probes are located close to each other. The point of them is to be redundant at the same point of reference. So if you spread them apart and have two different temperature readings it will assume a problem and halt operation. This little guy is pretty cool, and one of the most practical smart devices in my setup.

Very simple to setup and use. For the price I can now see my tank temperature and trending wherever I am. I have recently had heater issues and this will now alert me if I have problems.Like I stated, simple setup, I highly recommend downloading and connecting the application - then setting it up through the app. Very easy.It has been running for about a week now, if I have any issues I will update my review, but so far I highly recommend this model.

This is really an awesome product. The trick is understanding it. The manual is actually horrible, to be expected. But once you work through the details, you will absolutely love what this thing can do for your aquarium. I finally found a video on youtube, "benafricancichlids" That fully explained the functions and the different features. Don't bother with any of the other videos. Most of them have something wrong one way or another. Now that I have mine set up properly I absolutely love it. I have been watching it all day long. Step by step seeing how it moves through its functions and it is flawless. I've seen some reviews regarding the app, unfortunately, some of them are negative, but my experience with the app has been absolutely perfect. I hope you don't think that I work for this company because I don't. The neatest thing about this is that the aspect of controlling the temperature of my aquarium has always been a hit or miss, an unknowing, and a feeling of uncertainty. Now I feel like I have some understanding and control which is really a great thing to have when you're worried about your little fishy friends. I unfortunately lost a very, very valuable fish to myself due to my ignorance with temperature. And this is after thirty years of being in the fish world. Now I have this comfortable level of confidence. Get it.Update : what was I thinking? Where was I when temp controllers came out. I like to believe am up to date on most of my hobbies but this one slipped by. Let me tell you what I think about my Inkbird ITC 306A. I LOVE IT!!

I have 5 of these total. The older, non wi-fi style I bought used about 2 years ago and it is still working great. The new units Do not work with 2.4G wifi, 5G was not available at the time of purchase. When they work they work well, after one tank crashed when teh house heat went out and my 50W heater couldn't keep up with the ambient air, I put 2 heaters in every tank, so this unit was great for that secure backup. However right about 1 year after purchase, 2 of the 4 new ones started malfunctioning, not controlling teh temp properly, alarming at all hours when there was no change in the tank, one of them fried BOTH heaters in my tank, but fortunately the temp probe still worked so I dropped in an new heater and am just using teh (expensive) digital temp probe right now.I'll keep the other units as long as they work, but will not buy any more of these.

I absolutely love this temperature controller, I have it on all my tanks. Can adjust settings from app, anywhere! Which is nice, but you can also use it right at the controller.Cool tip I’d love to share. If you don’t need 2 heaters, plug in a small wavemaker into the 2nd spot and aim it at the heater. This will help keep the heater from cooking itself, while also distributing the heat better. Having it plugged in with the heater controller means it doesn’t have to run 24/7.10/10 would recommend

Tiene problemas con sus sensores al variar las temperaturas marca un error no te marca la de temperaturas individuales de los sensores al cual deja de funcionar Por lo regular me marcaba siempre un error en cinco o cinco ahí
