This was a little more than I wanted to pay at the time, but it works flawlessly. Great way to hook any (essentially) device to a tv/monitor very quickly without running cables.

Wanted to stream from my computer but it would artifact pretty bad. Then would cast to my phone and after a couple of uses it overheated and broke.The install was not very easy and was difficult to assign to my wifi. Overall for the price it was not worth it at all. do not buy this piece of junk

We needed to find an alternative for the Microsoft wireless display adapter, and we ended up finding an upgrade! We have multiple conference rooms with tvs at my work and some of the Window laptops would not connect to the Microsoft WDA. When Microsoft discontinued them, we found these and LOVE that you can cast Apple devices to it. And every Windows laptop has been able to cast effortlessly. Devices do not need to be connected to WiFi, which is an added bonus. All that needs to be done is connect to the TV and cast! We're in the process of replacing all of our Microsoft devices with these.

Don't download the app, it is worthless and they keep having pop up adds that take you down a rabbit hole. Use the smart view built in on your phone. It hooks so fast and easy!

I was looking for a replacement for the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter, but this is not the answer - at least it isn’t for me. While it does work, it has pixelation and hesitation under the same conditions where the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter worked perfectly. I hate Microsoft discontinued their product.

Bought this to use with a TV in a conference room where it will be on all the time. I liked that I could add my own image to be displayed, but the fact that it keeps that same image up all the time instead of giving the ability to have a screensaver function of changing to a different screen every several minutes means that my image will get burned into the TV. Not good.

I hooked these up in my office conference rooms. I was able to customize the background to make it look professional. Employees and guests have been able to connect from any device they have tried. It just works great!

We bought this to replace WIDI adapters. It was easy to connect, worked well. The most attractive part is when it isn't connected and receiving a signal it displays a info page. Easy to follow instructions for our team members to follow to get connected without the need to contact IT. They can have meetings and we can do other things. Really neat idea! We have ordered 3 more for other office displays.

This product description is a lie. Its description is Screencast 4K, the box says "Supports 4K Ultra HD ar 30 Hz", and the website states "Stunning 4K Picture Quality, Enjoy a crystal clear resolution up to 4K and lifelike colors optimized for your TV.", but its all a lie. Having purchased this for one of our meeting rooms, I confirmed that when plugged into the tv, it said 4K 30p. When connecting to the dongle, Windows 11 would only allow a resolution up to 1080p. Having updated the device, and finding nothing to resolve it, i contacted the manufacturer's support. Their response:-"Due to the limitation of Miracast 1.0 that JVAW76 complies with, the output resolution of source device will be limited to 1080p, 720p and 480p. The JVAW76 will upscale the source resolution up to 4K with 4K display."This device is using a standard that was first ratified in 2012!. In July 2017, 2.1 was ratified, which does support 4K, however J5Create think its reasonable to claim a product can stream 4K, when its only capable of streaming at 1080p, and upscaling to 4k. Massive con in my opinion, and I will steer clear of any of their products in future.

Habe das Produkt an verschiedenen Geräten getestet, Smartboards und meinem 4K-Fernseher:Im Miracast-Modus macht er einfach kein 4K - ich kann es nicht mal auswählen, selbst wenn ich das Ausgabegerät als alleinige Anzeige auswähle.Man kann das Gerät administrieren und verschiedene 4K-Modi auswählen - ausgegeben wird aber nur in 1080p. Anderen Erfahrungsberichten aus dem Netz nach zu urteilen, bin ich nicht der einzige, bei dem 4K nicht geht.Vielleicht gibt es irgend einen Modus, in dem 4K geht, für mich ist Miracast entscheidend und da geht es nicht. Das FullHD-Bild ist allerdings schön klar, schnell und stabil.

Even at lower resolutions, the video cast to the screen got more and more laggy as the session continued. Unusable.
