Since there is only one nail in the storage box of the 2011-2017 Jeep Wrangler JK JKU, in order to solve the problem of unstable installation of the storage box, we present a roll of double-sided adhesive tape, please note the following before use:
1. Clean the surface before applying and make sure that the mounting surface is clean, dry, smooth and free of oil.
2. Apply some pressure to the tape before peeling off the red backing, and apply final pressure to the mounting object after mounting is complete to create a strong, permanent bond.
3. For maximum bonding strength, please do not hang heavy objects immediately after tape application and be patient for another 72 hours.
4. Effective tape application is accomplished when temperature is between 70° F and 100°F (21°C and 38°C). Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended.

I owned a 2017 Sahara 2 doors Jeep Wrangler. Obviously this car doesn’t have car play, so I need to use my phone for navigation.Tired of the situation finally decided to get something helpful for my phone and I did find this gadget which was well rated by other people on Amazon and even in other couple sites on the internet.It is sturdy. DO not bring the tool to replace the bolt from the dash, so I used some pliers and it came out great. It does bring an extra bolt but I decided to use the same original bolt. Also bring tapes to secure the piece from the bottom to the dash but I decided not to use them. In my opinion with the bolt is just enough.The color matches perfectly with the color of the dash and it is well made, definitely sturdy enough. In terms of stability is the thing that makes me a little sad. Most of the reviews seemed to say that the stability of the phone while driving was not good and it is true. The phone trembles while driving in a regular road (I don’t want to know how it would feel off road 🤣) The phone holds up well. I installed it in October and it’s still been working well (no accidents of my phone falling off from it) It has a bottom on the back to automatically remove the phone and fits a regular IPhone and a Pro Max too. Easy to connect the charger cable, and you can put your phone either horizontally or vertically.The value for the money is worth it and it does hold the phone good. Do recommend!

This puts the phone in a readily accessible area without using up a cupholder or taping something to the dash. Easily installed with the screw that is on the dash already and NO drilling is required. Takes just a few min from start to finish.The phone holder in the pic was actually swapped out for a magnetic holder for the iPhone 14. The magnet was sold as a vent holder and fit the ball with this item. The one that comes with it was sturdy and works well but I just prefer a magnet mount.The fit is ok along the dash but mine had a rough area on the left side which may just be a manufacture defect. This is why I rated at 4 instead of 5 stars.Overall I would recommend this if looking for an unobtrusive phone holder for your JK.Best to ya!

It is deep and holds several items while the phone stand offers lots of different options for positioning and holds the phone tight. Fits my 2016 Jeep Wrangler perfectly. You will need another tool and the screw that came with it did not fit so don’t throw yours away.

I removed my original dash trey, Bolted up the extension phone holder, one screw layer I thought I was good to go. I adjusted it to where I wanted and tightened down with included wrench. I put my phone on the bottom ledge and clamped it with the side clamps. Phone vibrated like crazy just driving down the interstate! Nothing else vibrates? I double checked the tightness. OK. I guess it's going to liberate while driving down the read. The we hit a bump and it fell out. Yes my phone is in a case and I have my office key card on the back but I measured and it takes up less than 1/16 of an inch. The case is a thin piece of plastic. I thought... maybe I did put it in correctly. Replaced and it fell out again. Got to call it quits on this one and of course it's too late too return. I have a nice vide I'm going add of the vibration. This is a do not buy from me.

Increased storage space on the dash and perfect location for the phone/gps. I didn't use the adjustable arm and it works great.
