These work, for sure, but if you're not exactly sure if you'll know how to use them--don't. You're liable to smash the bits of the animal while trying to get the band to slide off the stretcher. The ultimate conclusion is that removing parts from an animal is always cruel--I was just hoping that this was less cruel. I mean, it is, but only if you really now what you're doing.

The ZHEQOGZH Livestock Castration Bander are a much welcomed upgrade to my original old banders.These are easier to use and come with 4 different sizes of castrator rings. That's so helpful because I have various different livestock on my farm and need different sizes. There's also quite a bit of the rings so I won't run out for at least a few years.The rings seem like they're made of good material and won't snap half way into a castration. That's not fun!Highly recommended for farmers.

I have not personally used this tool yet because I bought it in advance, but from all the research I have done, this tool right here will get the job done. It looks easy enough to use, and in fact in looks like the other tools that I have seen used, so I am pretty sure that it is going to work just fine. We have sheep on our farm if anyone is curious. There are different size bands for different size ages. Me personally, I will use the small bands, the ones designed for younger ages. Simply put, sometimes farmers don't need too many males. Each male can handle several females, so sorry guys- some of you gotta go, at least parts of you, lol.

We bought this to band our billy goat. The tool does not stretch the band big enough.Disappointed
