The cut is exact… thus can use the protractor with confidence. On top of the protractor is a convenient formula for declination (grid magnetic angle) calculation… to me that is the best feature of all!! To make things even better, there are no sharp edges here, thus it wouldnt snag on the map or even clothing. All in all, its a good value for money purchase! Before l forget…. The material is rather pliable, thus not easily broken.

I bought these in hopes they were more accurate on their grid square measurements than military-issued protractors. It turns out they are! I have used to plot land navigation and training CFF missions and have worked great.

This protractor is by far the best I’ve used in my military career. It’s perfectly cut so you do not need to offset when marking points. It has back azimuths in red so you aren’t doing math on the move. It’s got a reminder of the gm angle for declination. Great product from a great company

This is a pretty good tool. It looks like it will last. The markings are dark and clear. My only problem is the numbers are so tiny I have to carry my eye glasses.

I’ve been looking for a good land nav ruler and this thing is so good I had flashbacks to the dreaded land nav courses from my decades in the military.A must have for proper land nav. It even reminds you how to use the declination diagram!Win!
