Not sure how it works for other people, but if you are like me, you have a shred box for mail and documents that need to be shredded, and it gets more and more full. Finally, I decided to tackle the "shred box." So many old bills, and statements, etc. This fingertip moistener, made going through that mail a lot easier. just a quick role over, and I had enough water to easy grip the pages. Saved me time and hassle.

This seems like a clever item, and I can see that it would be great for counting money or receipts, etc. But I wanted it because my old printer needs a bit of an assist to discharge paper, and I was getting weary (and mouth dry) from pushing out each and every sheet of paper with my wet finger. I thought this little item would be great.. it's clever and very effective, but too much so, actually -- when I get my finger wet with the spinning ball and then hit the paper to give it a little push, the paper gets So wet that it smears the ink on the page I've printed in the shape of my fingerprint.. didn't expect that, but still give it 3 stars for being effective and attractive. ..but with no adhesive on it at all on the item I received..

It works much better if you mix a little bit of glycerin with the water. It lasts longer because it won't evaporate as soon as just water. And the glycerin does do a better job at lasting longer on your fingertips. I use mine every day while at work.

Great concept , simple and useful. We use it everyday at our shop checkouts , good change from sponges. Easy to refill and just enough moisture to pick a plastic bag or count notes. Doesn't make fingers too wet.
