I bought it for close-up work. I did a stupid and knocked a freeze plug down into the water jacket of an engine, on the back side. I went cheap because I figured there was a good chance of damaging the camera. I twisted the heck out of this thing and it still works like a champ. While the magnet attachment wasn't strong enough to grab the freeze plug, it did allow me to move it to a spot where I could fish it out with a little sheet metal hook I made. It will rotate the display 180 degrees and mirror it. I wish it would rotate in 90 degree increments, but turning the display on its side works. For the people that complain about the cable being too flexible, I doubt many cameras this small would stand out straight at full length. For me, the flexible cable was exactly what I needed. If you need it to be stiffer, get some solid aluminum picture hanging wire and spiral that around it. Battery life isn't stellar, but it works fine while plugged into a charger. It can't take still shots, but I have an older inspection camera that could and I never used that feature. Picture quality is really good on both the front and side camera, bright and clear. It has a menu to change settings, but no real instructions on those. Didn't come with a charger, but really, who doesn't have an extra USB charger? I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Definitely a great value.

This bore scope has paid for it self many times over. I had a water pump explode inside the block of my 5.9 cummins, I used this bore scope to find all the pieces in the water jackets. I used it again to find a clog in my bath tub drain, check for rodents in walls, find tools that dropped into the abyss. Very easy to use, screen is crisp and clear, and the light on the scope is plenty bright enough. The length of the scope itself is perfect.

I love being able to make a small hole in the wall, stick this thing in and peek around, before cutting a big hole. Also, this let's me check to see if there is any insulation in a wall too. I can see down drains and pipes, under appliances, down holes. I freaking love this thing!

The picture was good, and as you can see in the photo I have a added it shows coolent running down the cylinder wall, I retired over 20 years ago as a mechanic and the bore scopes we had back then were over $500 and the picture was awful, for the money this product is fantastic and has already paid for itself it it were to break tomorrow

This thing works great!!! clear picture nice little retrieval attachments for items dropped into places you would not be able to fit your hand...like rings down bathroom sinks....
