Used in a high vibration application where a reed switch was chattering off and on. This works great. Just had to add a small driver circuit to control the relay.

Of the dozens of threaded-body hall effect sensors available on Amazon, I chose this one specifically because it was listed as being 10mm. As evidenced by the photo, it, like most of its type is closer to 12mm (M12x1.0 thread specifically).

As stated in the specifications, the barrel thread diameter is 12mm.Apparently some reviewers don’t bother with reading the product descriptions.
