These impact shorts are easy to wear, have good flexibility, good cushion to help protect from injuries from falling on butt or hips while skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, etc. They're fabric overcovered, so not highly abrasion resistant, probably want to cover them with something else to protect them if you want to use them for skateboarding or inline skating, but for snow/ice sports, they're easy to put on under your outer or insulating layers to help avoid bruising or injury. They slip on like really thick spandex shorts, the padding is sectioned into several pieces for good flexibility, and the sizing is about inline with regular clothing.

This was impossible to wear, it was shaped like a box with sharp angels on it. Really poor fit and sizing ran large. Couldn’t wear it to snowboard had to return it.

These padded shorts offer great protection for my teen son and daughter when snowboarding. However, they are quite bulky and oversized. We ordered a size small, and they still fit rather large. It works out okay since they're underneath bulky snow pants, but it's not ideal. I recommend sizing down when ordering.

I ordered these in a small size and they were way too big. Other than the fact that they are oversized, the padding was not good at all and would not protect from a fall

These fit well and don't slide or fall down (of course, they probably would if you mis-sized yourself). The elastic band is wide enough to not dig into your waist nor flap nor roll on my semi-athletic build. The padding seems substantial enough to be protective during a common fall on the ice and the material is lightweight and airy which helps create breathability and release of heat.

We returned this as soon as we could. The shape was odd and too bulky to wear under snowboarding pants.

I ordered size large as i fit right into the middle of the large range at a 36 inch waist. These pants barely touch my waist, it seems like i had actually ordered an extra large. My advice is to order at least one size down, if you are near the bottom of the range order 2 sizes down. Otherwise the pants seem like they will give good protection to my sacral area and hips incase of a fall. The quality of the product looks good, just wish they fit.

These hip and tailbone protective shorts offer a lot of value for the price. The protection is substantial and effective without being too bulky. Excellent for snowboarding or various sports where protective padding is necessary. Skateboarding, hockey etc. They are comfortable, well made, and do not shift around during strenuous activity. I'm very pleased with these pads overall.
