These are RARE size polished Apache Tears! To make a tumbler polished Apache Tear that is 1 1/2 inch to 1 3/4 size requires a rough Apache Tear that is 2 inch size. Rough Apache Tears that are 2 inch are rare to find because they mostly only grow about 1 inch or smaller.
I have a friend who has been in the rock business for over 50 years and he has access to buy out entire collections from rockhounds in their 80's and 90's who are retiring from collecting. I was able to get about 200 rough Apache Tears that were 2 inch to 3 inch size. Another friend tumbler polished them for me.
You will receive one tumbler polished Apache Tears from the lot shown in the listing photos that is 1 1/2 inch to 1 3/4 inch in size.
