Multiple Fuse Models

The B+ (yellow)
The yellow cable should be connected to the fuse of the constant power supply in the car fuse box.
If you are looking for a constant power supply in the fuse box: Use a voltage tester to check the fuse to ensure it still have electricity even if the car engine is off.
The ACC (red)
Identify the ACC (Accessory) fuse slot in the fuse box. This slot provides power when the ignition is on.
Testing method : The tester bulb will light when the engine if on and won't light when the engine is off.
The Ground (black)
This black cable is connected to the metal parts of the vehicle. There are screw nails and metal parts near the fuse boxes in many cars. Connect the black cable to the screw or metal part.

I’ve been using the REDTIGER F7N Dash Cam and Hardwire Kit in my car, and it’s an incredible setup. As someone who creates YouTube content, this dash cam gives me high-quality footage for my videos, and the peace of mind it offers for safety is unbeatable. Even though I don’t really need 4K, the clarity is amazing, and it’s nice to have that level of detail just in case anything ever happens.The hardwire kit was straightforward to install, and it’s been working flawlessly. The low voltage protection is a great feature—it makes sure my car battery is safe, which is a big plus. I might not use all the 4K features, but for the price, this kit is an awesome deal. This works fine. One caveat, these look exactly like older models but they must be connected differently. Being a man who is too good to read instructions, it took me quite a while to figure this out. Once we got it connected properly, it worked fine. So, if you have had one of these before, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLLLLLLY!!! Lesson (re)learned.

Great and not so greatI have purchased three of these. In two of my vehicles it was super easy to install and the cord length was great. Zero issues and camera starts on vehicle start per how I wired it. For both of these this is a 5 Star reviewFor another one of my vehicles the fuse taps simply do NOT work at all. I ended up just running the cigarette adapter cord around and hiding the wire for that and could not use the hardwire kit. Frustrating for sure after so much success with the first two. I suspect different vehicle designs on fuses boxes will have a similar issue

Everything worked well and as expected, the quality of the hardware was good. I could have used an extra foot of length for the USB end of the cable, which force me to get a bit creative with placement of the power converter. The fuse taps worked great for me, I have seen videos where you need to determine which side of the fuse socket carries the power and position the tap such that the cord is away from it, however that would have stopped me in my tracks immediately; and this was not the case. So either there is no polarity or it is reversed from standard; but I assume there is none, so that's great design. The cable length for the taps and what carries power to the converted was all great. I have only been running this device for a few days, but zero issues thus far. Overall I'd say I am very happy with the product. The extra spudger was a nice touch and the instructions were passable, but I did find it extremely useful to reference videos online related to my specific vehicle for pathing and wiring as well as a website like startmycar dot com for vetting fuses.
