Locks my phone at night so I have no access---I have cut my phone time down 71% with this--I used to take my phone to bed at night and watch tv shows. No more.....this is great for getting my life back.

This was a good buy but the directions were a little confusing and I locked the box by accident. Just be careful before you lock it and know how to unlock it.

I bought this to help me avoid using my iPad in the middle of the night. Because the iPad is bigger than the storage base of the lock box. I put the iPad in an app showcase and use a cable lock., Putting the key for the lock into the timed safe.

Well, there's nothing special here. Great to hide something from kids but that's about it.Pros:RechargeableSize is SmallEasy-to-useBattery life is goodCons:Limited functionality related to the lockThe code cannot be changedIt uses a standard pattern code if using the manual lock optionNo idea what the timed function would be used for.Build quality is meh since It's made of plasticsNo mounting hardwareThe lid pops off when you open it so it cannot be mounted upside down or any direction that the lid could fly offIt's an okay deal at this price point but I'd probably pass.

This timed lockbox has been a lifesaver in managing my daughter's privileges and enforcing consequences. It's a brilliant way to handle "time out" for specific items. If she loses access to something, it goes straight into the box, and the timer dictates when she gets it back. What I particularly love is the flexibility it offers. The timer ranges from a mere minute to a whopping four-plus days, allowing for appropriate consequences for various offenses. The internal space is surprisingly generous; it can easily hold 6-8 phones, which is more than enough for our needs.Setting both the combination and the timer is incredibly straightforward. The user-friendly design means no frustrating fiddling around, which is a huge plus when you're already dealing with a less-than-ideal situation. The only real downside is the price point. It's definitely an investment. However, in my experience, the effectiveness it brings to managing privileges and teaching responsibility makes it worth the cost. One important thing to note is the emergency unlock feature. While it's reassuring to know it's there, you only get four uses for the entire lifespan of the box. So, use it very sparingly and only when absolutely necessary!Overall: If you're looking for a structured and effective way to enforce time-outs for electronics, toys, or other privileges, this timed lockbox is a solid choice. While the price might be a barrier for some, the ease of use, generous capacity, and customizable timer make it a worthwhile investment for creating a more disciplined and responsible environment. Just be mindful of those limited emergency unlocks!

PLEASE BE AWARE THE TIMED MODE CAN’T BE UNLOCKED WITH THE CODE. IT ONLYUNLOCKS WHEN THE TIME IS UP. I didn’t read the manual well enough and set the timer for an hour to test it. Was not prepared for my phone to be stuck for an hour lol.I got this as a way to cut down on my own screen time. There are two modes. Without a timer or with a timer mode. The without a timer mode can only be unlocked using a code so if you’re like me and want to keep the phone from myself, you would use the timed mode where you choose how long until it unlocks. For times where you want to keep something from a child the untimed mode could be used. It’s a small box so make sure the dimensions work for you. It’s not big enough to hold a tablet but it’s long and deep enough to hold several phones if you want to do a screen free family night. The box itself is plastic and not impenetrable. It’s strong enough to deter kids from getting into it but if you or your kids accidentally sets the lock for 100 hours and you need your phone, you should be able to get it out with a little force. It’s $36.88 at the time of this review. That seems like a decent price for the quality. It seems like a lot of thought went into making it functional and I appreciate the different modes it has. For that reason I definitely recommend this.

My son really dislikes this product, which is perfect. It locks up his phone for the time limit I set and that is determined by the amount of grade lower than an A. It also includes 30 minutes for dinner. Everyone puts their phones in for dinner now. It keeps everyone off the phones and if it is ringing well it just sits and rings. (I do keep and ear piece for me just more emergency calls) But for the most part it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Fit the phones and keep people off the tech. Works great.

If you want a somewhat simple lock-box to provide limited protection against a lazy thief or hesitant child, this might work well. Beyond that, the plastic construction, fixed unlocking code and cumbersome programming limit the utility of the ySky timed box.A metal shell would have improved the ‘secure’ aspects of this box but it does have two simple locking points to bolt into place if you wish. The latching points on the lid are decent for a time-lock perspective but could be forced open by a determined thief.I do like the non-timer option on the lid, which allows you to simply lock the box like a small safe (for up to a year or until the power drains). The LCD display does show remaining power and the USB-C charge port is located on the lip of the lid, making it easy to recharge as needed. The unlocking sequence is annoying and fixed, so I’d suggest keeping it separately in a secure place, because if you make repeated mistakes with the code, after 5 times it will lock up. How long? Until the battery runs out. How long is that? Between 180 and 365 days! This is a bit expensive for a time-out box but a good way to enforce an off-line window.
