Had no idea this sort of adapter existed until I spoke with someone on a dive boat. This adapter connects to your LP house in place of a BCD inflator and threads to standard 1/4in NPT connectors found on air tools and hoses. I used this with a HOG D3 first stage, 30ft of cheap hose and a harbor freight budget impact and easily took off my vehicle's flywheel bolts which were 1/2in torqued to 105ft/lbs and glued in. Tried for 45 minutes with opposing wrenches and couldnt get one to budge, but the impact worked great.I am assuming any decent SCUBA regulator will put out the psi and cfm to run almost any standard air tool and the fitting didn't seem to hinder performance. Make sure you get the correct connector for your LP BCD quick disconnect as some brands of BCDs have different styles of connections. Works great. Connect any air tool you want. You could probably paint a whole bedroom with the amount of air a scuba tank holds. Personally, I just use it with an air nozzle to blow away dust/moisture, pop out seals, etc.

Good quality. Good resistance to corrosion. NPT threads lined up. BC connection is common and good quality -- connection makes a good seal. It is what it says it is. Great!

Needed this to build out a LP port pressure gauge.It works perfectly but one thing I noticed is that the threadings tapper like pipe threads. When I used it with a 1.4" adapter it screwed in but got tight after 3-4 turns. Teflon Tape and several extra turns with spanners got it in 80% of the way and there are no leaks.

This adapter is incredibly underrated. It fits perfectly, and will allow you to use your LP BC hose for anything you may need compressed air for.With this adapter, you can use your scuba tank to refill tires, use a blown gun, or do anything else that requires a good volume of air at whatever IP your regulator is set at.After losing my first one, I ordered another immediately, and recommend you do the same.

Worked great for scuba applications. Use any Teflon or PFTE tape. I have two of these and use them regularly.
