This will fit a ZWO AM5 mount if the plastic spacer inside the counterweight is removed. This is probably the cheapest 5kg/11 lbs counterweight I found that will fit an am5. The screw has a nylon tip which is not in the description, but it's nice to have. Overall very happy

This counterweight came as original equipment with the Orion Atlas Mount. The Atlas mount was also sold by other dealers as the EQ6. It has an 18mm shaft. A plastic shim in the counterweight can be removed so that the counterweight van be used for any equatorial mount that has a 20mm shaft diameter. You'll like the fit and finish of the product. 5 stars all the way.

Great service, what can I say it's a chunk of metal with a screw. Made by skywatcher color matches their mount if thats important.

I have a 152mm Explore Scientific refractor mounted on an Orion Sirius EQ-G go to mount. The mount came with one 11 pound counterweight which is half of what I need for this telescope (23 lbs). The counterweight sold by the mount manufacturer is almost twice the price of this Sky-Watcher counterweight but I was mildly concerned that it would not fit on the counterweight shaft. No worries. Other than the Sky-Watcher weight being painted white, it is identical to the Orion weight and works perfectly. The telescope and mount are able to be balanced, although I will admit that this is almost too much telescope for this mount. Clear skies!

I ordered an HEQ5 mount and it was missing one of the weights. I did a little research and found out this is the same exact 11lb weight that's used on both the HEQ5 and EQ6-R equatorial mounts. Came nicely padded in a rather thick styrofoam casing to protect the finish. Not a bad deal shipped at $45 vs some other astronomy specialty shops that charge additional shipping if under the $50 minimum or weight charge for small parcels.

My 11lb cat Frida is now free from counterweight duty. She's happy.
