I bought this to actually secure a window air conditioner on a sliding window in a motorhome, and it does a very good job holding the air conditioner It is nice and thick and firm and comes with many parts for any size window

Nice and sturdy - made of metal. Very adjustable, but I used it for basic patio door security when on an extended stay out of state. Just gave me that extra peace of mind, and at a good value!

I bought this security bar for a basement slider window. I adjusted the product according to the instructions, but because it is in separate pieces, the process is not as easy as I would like. Also, the overall product feels a bit cheap and is not worth the value for the money. The bar fit well in the slider track and does the job. Overall, this is an OK product, but there may be better ones, such as single piece construction, out there.

Have been looking a long time for a device like this for my sliding patio door.I thought it would be heavier, seems a bit flimsy, however it is well designed to be adjustable for many different lengths. It is quick and easy to assemble. There is an extra extension rod to add for length if necessary but didn’t need it. Good to keep it though in case it’s ever needed for use somewhere else. There is also a latch bolt to add security to the device. This item is definitely worth buying and can be used for different sizes of windows or doors.
