It's always feels like a bit of a roll of the dice when purchasing something that has an electronic component, a mechanical component, and an app that goes with it. In this case, it was a good purchase. This is being written 3 months after we purchased it.The app: Pairing it to the app was easy. I was surprised by the functionality of the app and what could be done with the lock through the app. We had contractors going in and out of our house while we were not there, and we were able to assign each one a separate code and know when they were showing up. The fingerprint configuration was easy and works well. The app is stable and we have not had any issues doing what we need to do with it. My only complaint with the app is that it apparently requires you to be within 6 feet of the door to "remotely" unlock it, even though we also have the WiFi G2 Gateway. I wouldn't exactly consider that "remote" unlocking. I would have expected that with it also connected to the WiFi gateway that the door could be unlocked from anywhere that has Internet service. If this is possible, I'll update my review if I figure out how to do it.The electronic deadbolt: This has functioned perfectly, although you do need to make sure the deadbolt latch doesn't rub against the edge of the strike plate too much or it won't be able to lock electronically. The fingerprint sensor is a big time-saver, since it's much quicker to unlock the door using the fingerprint sensor than by typing in a code. The only thing I don't like is the style of the keys on the keypad. You have to press firmly on the keypad for each number, and if someone who has never used the lock needs to lock it on their way out, there's nothing identifying how to lock it (pressing the keypad to activate the keypad then holding down the "#" key for 2 seconds is not very intuitive). However, this was not significant enough to deduct any stars on the overall rating.The handle: We initially had an issue with the handle not fully pulling in the latch to open the door. We emailed the manufacturer and sent them a video of the issue. They responded right away, asked a few questions about the issue, determined that it was a defective unit, and shipped us a new handle. We installed the replacement handle and it works great now.Overall this is a great product for the price and we've been super happy with it and with Smonet's customer service. We've ordered another electronic deadbolt for another door now that we know this one works well.

When I was in need of a new front door lock, I decided to step into the world of smart locks. The Smonet Smart Front Door Lock caught my eye, and I'm delighted that I gave it a try. The process of downloading the app and pairing the lock was remarkably straightforward, providing a sense of reassurance about its ease of use.The app's functionality and the lock's capabilities through the app are truly impressive. The ability to assign unique codes to each user, with the added flexibility of customizing them to work within specific time frames, is empowering. The fingerprint setup was a breeze and performed admirably.The electronic deadbolt functioned perfectly AFTER a quick fix. At first, it did not lock or unlock properly (yes, I had fresh batteries). I emailed the manufacturer/customer service, and they responded quickly with a series of steps to troubleshoot the problem. When that did not work, they requested a video of the malfunctioning lock. Immediately, they were able to identify the problem and provide the correct solution. The deadbolt is now in excellent working condition. Elaine (customer service) was patient, polite, and professional. Despite the time difference, I was able to get my issue resolved within 48 hours of my initial complaint. The fingerprint sensor is actually what prompted me to purchase the Smonet Smart Front Door Lock. It is very responsive and super easy to set up. This is a wonderful option for older users who may have difficulty remembering the number combination for the code.Overall, this is a great product for the price. I have been genuinely happy with it and even more so with Smonet's customer service. I definitely will check out their other products.

Bought one of the full set and one of just the deadbolts for our house. They worked so well, we ended up buying them for all entry doors. The locks are great, simple to install and are MUCH better designed than the Kwikset we used to have. The issue with the Kwikset is that when the batteries die you have to remove 3 screws to change them. On top of that, one of the batteries is by the lower handle and it's a giant pain to remove. Not so with these locks. The batteries can be easily changed, they seem to last longer than in the Kwikset, and they work EXACTLY as expected. While the app doesn't have the greatest reviews, we have had no problem with it. We are able to program codes and fingerprints for family members and program temporary or recurring codes for contractors and our cleaners.I can't say enough good about these locks. They are fantastic and a better deal than anything else out there! Highly recommended.

Great product. Easy to install both physically and digitally. I have yet to figure out how to install on my Alex home app though.

I bought this on sale for about $50. Let's get to the point, since I hate reviews that just drags on about nonsensical stories about their life and how this product has changed their life and yada yada yada. My mom always told me, keep it simple, stupid. And this review will just be that. Simple. Although my mother was born in the 1950s., she was a very practical woman that way. MY father though, he would go on and on about stories off topic to the point we were talking about. Anyways.This lock, it's not perfect, but it works.The bad:- slow response on the touchscreen keypad.- you must create an account to change passcode and update them.The good:- it looks sleek and it's sturdy.- it comes with 3 keys, and 2 wireless cards you can tap with

I was first skeptical of ordering locks of a brand not really known in Canada, but after searching around and looking at all local locks compared to this one I am super happy I have purchased it, actually I just purchased my 3rd so all my exterior doors have one.The wifi system is easy to use, the passkey extra features are awesome. If someone is watching me put my code in I can smash as many buttons as I want as long as I input the correct sequence somewhere in the middle.The app is pretty user friendly compared to the vast majority.I love everything about these locks. Highly recommend!Update: The third lock sadly had some internal mechanism issues and after speaking with their customer service who were stellar they issued a replacement all within the same day. Really is great to see such an amazing turn around to get my place locked up safely again.I still highly recommend these locks. Can't find anything close to the features in Canada.

The smart lock came nicely packaged with very clear instructions and the app you use to control the lock was also well designed and lots of nice features. The wi-fi gateway setup was also pretty straightforward. One small issue I had was that the Amazon description claimed there would be 5 keys but it only came with 2 keys as well as 2 id fobs. I was a little concerned about not having more physical keys in case the batteries died but after contacting their excellent customer service, they told me about this neat feature to use in case the batteries die. There is a USB plug on the front panel and if you plug a power bank into it, it will power up the lock enough so that you can use your phone app, passcodes or id cards. With this feature I can just leave a power bank in the garage instead of hiding a physical key!

I really wanted to love this lock. On paper, it does everything I needed my smart lock to do, including integrate with Alexa and Home Assistant (thanks to a simple custom repo). But one flaw, hard to believe, and seemingly simple to not exist, makes it completely useless: Actuating the lock manually does not update it's status in the app! As a consequence, you cannot rely on the status displayed in the app, in Alexa, or in Home Assistant. Worse, if you have a routine that includes the action to lock the door, if the door was unlocked, but showing as locked in the virtual status, then the app will not lock it! Such a shame...

Serrure de qualité et fonctionne très bien.Facile à installer et programmer.Utilisez TTLock au lieu de NextLock pour utiliser avec Alexa.Après discussion avec service client (Summer est vraimer fantastique), j'ai compris que NextLock ne fontionne pas sur Alexa au CanadaPar contre, NextLock et TTLock utilise la même base de données et donc, juste à télécharger l'appli TTLock et utiliser le même compte si vous avez déjà créer un compte NextLock et tout fonctionne bien et TTLock est pris en charge par Alexa.Il est aussi possible de faire faire des clefs en Amérique avec les machines à clef manuelles car des Blank américain existe pour cette clé.Merci Summer de ton service.
