This is a surprisingly helpful tool in my kitchen, and it’s not only easy to use, but it’s also fun and safe to use! I don’t like to work with sharp blades, but this unit makes it very safe. I admire the design, which to me is a weird combination of dollhouse aesthetic mixed with sharp blades. Everything can be packed away into the unit when it’s ready to be stored away; even the brush can be placed in the bottom drawer along with all the sets of blades. The cord has a special spot on the back to be wrapped and stuffed out of the way. Supposedly these parts are dishwasher safe, but I have had plastic warp on me before so I’m fine with soaking these in the sink for a few minutes and handwashing. It’s very easy to clean, especially with the included brush.I love making vegetable spring rolls, and this shreds carrots, cucumbers, and cabbage beautifully. I’ve also made lovely thin-sliced potatoes, and it just occurred to me that this probably could do a great job with apples. I think the harder something is, the better it gets sliced when it’s run through this unit. A bell pepper got a little mushed but it was soft anyway; perhaps freezing it slightly would have resulted in a better cut. I’m going to freeze softer things first (cheese, onion) before trying them here and will update my review then.In the meantime, if you grate/cut/slice a lot of items, this just might make those tasks much easier, safer, and quicker, with very palatable results!

This electric grater is a kitchen must-have! It shreds cheese, carrots, and potatoes quickly and efficiently.
