I need large quad sheets to make prototype drawings and this is the magic I need. Quality paper and visible lines.

This grid paper desk mat is EXACTLY what I needed. Beautiful. Sturdy. Handy as heck for organizing my thoughts, reminders, tips and tricks! Perfect!! I purchased other desk mats from other companies and they came folded in half or all mangled up! This one came in perfect and beautiful in a box the right size! Well worth the money! Thank you so much! :-)

For me, this is a large "notes-to-self"- and doodle-pad - no more fumbling for a sticky-note when someone calls! And i get a brandy-new sheet anytime I decide the top one has gotten too full or sloppy. The far-edge (farthest from the user) binding and the 2 near corners are well protected but the near edge got ragged where my hands rested on it when typing -- until Captain Brilliant thought to turn it around so the protected, bound edge is nearest to me (duh! :-)4* for Sheerness (I assume not sheer - see through - is a good thing); I can only just see, but not read, a dark-printed card under one sheet.4* for Value @ US$0.70 / sheet.5* for Easy To Read - The paper is bright white without being glossy. The actual reading contrast will, of course, depend on your choice of writing and drawing tools. I just grab the first handy pen or pencil.3* for marker blotting and bleed-through. I drew a tic-tac-toe or '#'-grid on the top sheet with a Sharpie brand permanent marker. The ends of the lines were small blobs maybe twice the width of the lines, and the blobs (but not the lines) bled through. To be a completely fair test, the next page should have been the next sheet of the pad, but I used the back of an envelope instead, to save that sheet. (My mother always called me "cheap"; I wonder why???)

Using the larger paper makes doing the patterning easier.

I picked this up for my work table to make notes and doodle. I came out one morning and it was gone. My daughter stole it and brought it to work for safe keeping. Works great for checklists, doodles, patterns, notes. So much more fun than plain paper or another calendar. Will be buying again

When an 8.5" x 11" pad is not sufficient, this 22" x 17" pad is a good option. The tear off at the top works well, and I like the pockets in the bottom corners to keep the page flat. The grid is very accurate and the lines are uniform thickness and color. The paper is not too thin and takes pencil and ink well. This is a good choice for those larger drawing projects. My current project is to make a scale drawing of each room in my house (one room per page). I will then cutout shapes for various pieces of furniture and use those shape to layout the location of the furniture or how a new piece of furniture will fit into the current layout. I could get some CAD software to do this, but this graph pad method is quicker, easier and cheaper.Enjoy!

I like the paper quality: it was heavy duty, was easy to draw on with a mechanical pencil, and erasing errors did not smear. What I didn't like, which could be my fault for not understanding the description, is that the paper comes bound along the top and you need to completely remove the binding if you want to separate a sheet from the tablet without tearing it.

I particularly like the good quality paper and the corner protectors that prevent the sheets from becoming dog-eared.

I haven't opened this to use yet but it appears to be good quality. Pretty expensive for a single desk pad though!
