Modern laptops seem to only have USB-C ports. If you want any other kind of ports, you need a hub, such as this UGreen one.I had a hub on my laptop to connect to Ethernet - but that hub failed. I ordered this one and it worked fine on Etherent.It also provides two USB-A ports and two USB-C ports. I would have appreciated a port for an SD card but I don't need that very often and I have other hubs that I can use.One thing that might sound unusual is that the cord on this unit is a bit too long. I'd prefer a bit shorter cord.All-in-all, it works well.

Expansion port works well on my laptop. Provides ethernet connection which functions seamlessly. Plus additional USB connections. Pleased overall with functionality.

I was surprised that it allowed the high speed internet connection to pass through and not degrade the speed at all...good thing! I tried to use the connections for a display, but that didn't work

I’m kinda new to UGreen but have purchased several of their products which was a factor in me getting this for my MacBook Pro M3. It works flawlessly. It performs well with the speed test on the drives that I connect to it. I needed Ethernet as well and it provides that for me to connect with my network.

In about 2 weeks of usage, the Ethernet port stopped working and one of the USB ports started behaving erratically (caused my mouse to jump). Unfortunately, with travel etc., i got busy and missed the return window by one day. I have since tried contacting the seller via email and phone calls, but there is no response. I used the contact details from their support page on Amazon which promises great support, etc., but I have received no response to my email or phone messages (the calls go to a voicemail). Amazon asked if the seller had resolved y issue, I said no, but Amazon has gone quiet after that as well. Maybe I received a lemon, but the non response is a worse situation, so my experience prompts me to not recommend buying UGREEN products.

Solid, stylish construction providing the extra Ethernet port for seamless device configurations, and extra USB 3.2 ports, clearly labeled—no more questions about what port speed you're connecting to. Newer laptops don't have extra USB ports. This tool makes it easy to add peripherals when you need them. Just plug it in and it works.

Initially I was very happy with the purchase, however after 5 months the charging port stopped functioning. I'd say if charging is not important, it's a good item, but for me it's crucial.EDIT: Seller offered full refund, so I am changing rating to 5 stars for excellent support.

Perfekt im Netzwerkkabel und den weiteren USB-Kladeradatsch anzuschließen. Da das Chromebook über keine Netzwerkbuchse verfügt, haben wir uns so beholfen und es funktioniert einwandfrei. Jetzt sind wir unabhängig von unserer instabilen WLAN-Verbindung. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
