At a maximum sensitivity, the motion sensor detects motion only within 6 feet, which is not usable. The product description states that the sensor should detect motion within 23 feet. Returned the item. Could be it's a problem with a particular unit I've got. Be aware, anyway.

I really like the metal housing of the light, and the ability to select within color temperatures is so convinient.This unit is also easy to install if you have the right socket.The dusk till dawn feature is what got my attention and the sensor works great with it.What I didn't like is the plastic difuminator, it covers a great extend of the light and the plastic makes the whole unit look cheap. Also, the LED light work great but are not replaceable (at least not easily) giving this unit a service time equal to the time of the LEDS, I'm expecting at least 4 years but I will update if it stops working an intended sooner.

This was a time consuming, tricky installation, but the light is BRIGHT and adjustable to any need you have. It can be set on several different sensing heights, brightnesses, and timer options as well as dusk to dawn. It's lighting up our space extremely well. We have it on a sensory mode so it comes on anytime there's movement. This is really nice when coming home after dark or going outside after dark. It also helps with security cameras having better view at night.

First of all, I absolutely love the design of this light. To me, it kind of has the vibes of a fancy light you might find in a traditional Japanese restaurant.When just looking at the specs, I wasn't sure how bright 24 watt would be for my porch area, especially after having recently been disappointed by the brightness of another ceiling light with the same wattage. However, this light's brightness does not disappoint. The light is plenty bright and keeps my entire porch area evenly lit without casting any harsh shadows.The metal frame construction feels solid and gives the light a nice protective frame without obstructing the light. The light comes pre-installed with good amount of insulation material inside, and seems very durable and weather resistant. The light also gives me the option to easily adjust the color temperature between 3000K and 6000K with a simple switch inside. Just keep in mind that the switch is located inside the lamp cover, so just makes sure to set it to your preference before putting up the cover.I have mine set to dusk to dawn mode and I simply use the wall switch to manually turn the light on and off during evening hours just as I would with any other light. But you can also set it to auto mode to have it come on for a set time (5 sec to 3 min) whenever motion is detected during evening hours. When you want to have the light stay on in this mode, just flip the switch off and then back on quickly and it will stay on for 5.5 hours before returning to auto mode. See the pic of the manual I uploaded for more details.My back porch looks so much brighter and nicer with this light. Once it starts to get warmer here in Florida, I'll definitely be spending more time out there in the evening hours.

It’s a good value vs other opens on the market and nicely styled for farmhouse or older craftsman homes. It looks like a regular light and it excellently bright ! It’s easy to install and the Morin detection is sensitive. I did not like the the degree of trigger for the motion detection is rather narrow. You really need to be almost right under it even on the most sensitive setting . The build quality is good, but could be a little better. The shade looks like glass but is not. It is some sort of synthetic plastic. Time will tell if it lasts as well without a glass shade/cover. The body is metal and over all it’s bright and does what we need it to do while looking more stylish . Recommended. It is very functional as a security light .
