So this bulb lasted less than 2.5 months before it nearly caused an electrical fire in my home. Tracked down the smell to my daughter’s room, to find her lizard’s light smoking and also receiving an instant awful headache from the smell. The bulb power was on but no light and was smoking. I immediately turned off power and removed the bulb from the house. Then removed the lizard from the room and began to ventilate the room. We are fortunate that we were home to catch this before my daughter’s room/lizard/ and my house were on fire. Guess this just goes to show, it’s not worth saving a few dollars on what is apparently dangerous!

I've been using the Hygger Zoo 5.0 26W UVB Bulb for my tropical reptiles, and it's been excellent in providing the necessary UVA and UVB light they need. For those with desert-dwelling reptiles, I'd recommend upgrading to the 10.0 version to better suit their environment. Overall, Hygger is a reliable brand, and I've had zero complaints with their products. This bulb is a great choice for ensuring the health and well-being of various reptilian pets

I received this on January 11th, this morning it blew out. It's only January 31st. Had to make a trip to the next city to get a replacement.

Exactly as described.13 w UVB bulb for pets.i use this for my exotics for that extra bit of vit D when it's rainy&overcast. I screwed this into the ceiling fan in their room daily it helps!

This is a great value for a UVB lamp. We got it to use in our red footed tortoise enclosure. Will be interested in seeing how long it lasts. Has good level of brightness. Seems to be made well. Overall, very pleased.
