The toroids were in good shape and appeared new. I calculated that the material is 10K for this batch. It would be nice if they would list it in the description.

I keep some of these on hand for various Ham radio projects that spring up occasionally. They are as advertised and seem to be fair priced. The only reason I held back on the #5 star is that I could not locate any sort of documentation as to their make up. These are probably more useful to an experimenter designer, like myself, than to engineering designers. Still a good deal.

Measured slightly higher than 5000nH/T^2 at 1kHz when wrapped with 10 to 20T and no bias current. Inductance dropped to about half it's L_0 value when biased with about 1.2 A*T. But my setup was fairly crude, so the real A*T for L_0 / 2 is probably a bit higher.

10 turns #30 WW wire produced a tad over 500 uHy. Good value at a buck each will buy more. good for RFI control and hot coax cable outer shield and actually some audio filter projects since it does not take a lot of wire to get in the mHy range. thank you Bob, KE6F

These cores seem to have an AL of 6000. 16 turns gives 1.5mH, 19 turns gives 2.3mH. I’m learning on YouTube how to wind. Will update this review when I know how many amps I can push through flyback converter.

Je devais en faire une self pour protéger mes électroniques des champs électromagnétiques de hautes fréquences comme la Wi-Fi, le Bluetooth , la G5 etc...J' ai finalement opté pour un coffret de ferrites de différent diamètre se clipsant facilement sur tous les câbles .Philippe Tremblais

These were a reasonable price and in good condition. They seem to have a pretty high permeability. A_L is estimated as 3170. Some quick VNA measurements indicate inductance dominance to about 80 MHz. A 10 turn bifilar created a Wideband transformer from roughly 100 kHz to 300 MHz.

- unfortunately, they had suffered some damage in transit. This didn't make them unusable but it was a little disappointing.
