Connection in three steps

Step1:
T-ring used to connect SLR and extension tube.
Extension tube
Step2:
Insert the eyepiece inside the tube cylinder, and fix the eyepiece with the side screw;
Connect tube,T-ring, 1.25" T adapter with M42 threads on both sides.

With new Sony lenses being very expensive, it makes sense to use my old Minolta lenses. The adapter itself works perfectly. It attaches the Minolta lens to your Sony E-Mount camera. The rest is up to you, the photographer. The a7iii has an assisted manual mode, with focus peaking, and focus magnification. It took me about a day (and a few websites and youtube videos) to get really comfortable. Now, I feel very comfortable, and have taken some nice pictures.also，I am very fussy on product quality, and this adapter exceeded my expectations. It is very well-made, from brass and stainless steel. It fits on my NEX-6 with a nice, solid feel - just like attaching a Sony lens. Same with attaching a sony lens to the front. I've had no issues with lenses or the adapter being too tight and sticking or with it being too loose. The blue aperture ring has been updated, and now has 6 click stops. It rotates with a smooth, precise feel.So far, it is working great, and photos taken with the sony lenses look fantastic.

I was going to return it but it is a nicely made unit. and for eight bucks I ordered the proper adapter online. do not believe when they say fits all Canon SLR it does not. I have the Canon Rebel t7 and it is way too small to fit. They did not send the wrong box either. on the label it said Canon SLR. But as stated, it was one of the nicer and well made units available in my opinion. it was worth ordering the adapter ring as needed.

I bought this to use for solar and lunar photography with my Canon camera. Works with my old t6i and my r6(with adapter).Pros - Build quality appears excellent. Works great if using with an eyepiece.Cons - no matter what I did (even removed extension portion) I could not achieve prime focus on either my dob or refracting telescopes. Cameras seemed like they needed to get closer to focus image. Another area of improvement would be to have the interior of unit matte black. It is almost a semigloss and causes some issues with images (especially when photographing the sun or a very bright moon). Planning on spray painting interior with matte black per another person's suggestion.Would have given 5 stars if advertised as eyepiece projecting only and interior was non reflective.

This was perhaps the least expensive option I found for Sony E Mount that included the T adapter and 1.25" adapter. This locked up tight on an A7C with no issues. I then threaded on the 1.25" adapter and it slid right into my refractor telescope in place of the mirror/prism. Picture quality will largely be a function of the camera, telescope, and user's ability to manually focus. The adapter just holds things in place. For me there is quite a bit of vignette unless I use a 2x Barlow. A 2" adapter should also reduce the effect but my telescope is 1.25" eyepiece native.Unless you have an automated tracking mount it will be hard to take pictures of any small or deep space objects that will move across the sky quickly. Even for easier objects like the moon you will need to use a remote shutter release (computer or phone) or time delay as even the slightest vibrations will cause poor image quality. Terrestrial photos should be easier so long as the subject gives ample time to focus.

I purchased the variable extension canon model.When it arrived the product felt heavy and durable. I put it together, attached it to my telescope and grabbed my Canon EOS Rebel T5 camera… and it didn’t fit!I will be returning. It’s very frustrating to order a specific product with a listing that says “fits canon SLR†only for it not to fit a canon SLR

I ordered this just before the eclipse in April 2024 and it arrived and I was able to mount my full fame Nikon dslr right onto my telescope and take amazing photos. Very easy to use and you can use it with a telescope eyepiece or without. Plenty of adjustability to allow you to find the focal plane.

This is ideal for connecting a dslr to a telescope and getting prime focus. I had issues trying to focus my canon dslr on standard 1x magnification on a 130SLT and this gadget seemed to be the trick to getting the prime focus. It also came in useful when focusing with a x2 Barlow, however it wasn’t necessary for focusing on when using my Barlow.Looks exactly as it does in photos and looks just as good as big name companies. Happy stargazer
