Exactly what I paid for. Every piece was pretty good size and worked for what I needed.

I own isopods and always in need of lightweight, natural hides.I knew going in that I would get many pieces of bark rather than a couple big pieces and I don't regret the purchase. This should work perfectly. Will be buying again sometime.

Out of the entire “2 lb†package I received, MAYBE a handful of pieces could actually be used for anything. The remainder of the bag were small pieces and chips.

Very thin pieces of bark. I was expecting something thicker. But it is cork bark as advertised...

Seemed clean, good amount, decent quality and mostly rectangular shapes. Not bad. A bit thin, but not horribly so. Definitely useable.Considering the cost of most cork bark on the market, these are a pretty good deal. Just remember to clean it, just in case. Here’s why…***Disclaimer: I have not confirmed the source of the following issue! These are just the most recent items added to my enclosures.***That said, I was doing wellness checks this past evening and noticed something strange moving around one corner of one of my habitats. They turned out to be Bark Boring Beetles. These beetles are TINY, like half a millimeter long. (And kind of cute.) They also don’t pose a direct threat to other invertebrates or exotic pets.HOWEVER, one source I found claimed to have a recurring infestation of these after adding new cork bark to a tropical, bioactive reptile enclosure. Cleaning and spraying for pests apparently only got rid of them for a short time before they came back.Bark boring beetles typically eat the under-bark of trees and/or other plant matter. (They're related to weevils.) But, large numbers could potentially become bothersome to the pets in the enclosure may cause stress for those animals which could make them more susceptible to illness/parasites.Also, the beetles could theoretically cause other issues in certain areas if they get out. (Depends on the species and your location.)These are decent pieces of cork, and IF they were the source of those beetles, they could have been picked up during storage at various distribution facilities or during shipping.*Not necessarily the original company.*Regardless, if you buy these, consider baking them or otherwise sterilizing them according to instructions and safety recommendations from a trusted reptile/invertebrate source.

These pieces are so thin they’re like construction paper. They don’t work for building a terrarium and they are too light for the weight of a lizard. Definitely don’t recommend

The bark came in a nice assortment of size, with no bugs or sharp ends. I used this in combination with reptile foam to press into the tank walls for decoration.
