This was easy to assemble if you know your dimensions. It is very sturdy.The only issue I found is my box is shorter so there is this dangerous three inch piece of bracket jutting out from the bottom. I saw this in the photos so I expected it. I had my husband cut off the excess, and then I used a little black Rust-Oleum on the tips that were cut . I placed the portion that holds the basket from the front underneath instead of on top of the bracket.The reason you're getting a four star is because I believe this would have to happen with any adjustable hanging brackets I might have purchased. With a little tweak you could eliminate this issue. But all in all a great deal and a great product.

First pic is the issue. Second pic is how they’re supposed to come. The main part doesn’t even have the correct holes drilled so the screws aren’t able to twist inside. They’re just solid holes. Only one of them was drilled correctly. I’d like to change my review and get some replacements, but customer service can’t help me at this time since they only operate monday-friday. So we’ll see what happens.

Bought these heavy duty railing planter box hooks because I've got house plants that I need to get off the floor and displayed quickly, before I lose my sanity. The first brand I tried didn't list the interior measurements so they didn't expand enough for my shelf/ planter box. Saw these, they were the right specs with plenty of extra room to adjust. Received them and they are awesome - sturdy, definitely big enough and wide enough. I was super excited. Then I started putting them together and realized that the holes on the bottom support that are meant to have the peice that holds the planter box snuggly? Yeah, those holes aren't threaded.... Even if i wanted to make bad decisions and just put the bolts through the holes and hope no one looks at it funny & it falls, there's absolutely no way to get the bolts into the holes at all. Now I have to go get a metric tap to make these usable. If I didn't need the sturdiness and width of these, I'd return them, but I haven't found anything else that would work so I'm out the money for them AND a tap... and my time.I didn't see any other reviews mentioning this, so perhaps it's a fluke or bad batch... kinda doubt it.
