What can go wrong with manual of such a simple device? everything. the manual is rubbish. and since i am not a home builder, i have no clue what the weird half tape is for. And the manual just shows a weird dash lines. it is full of icons that have nothing to do with the steps. The item itself doesnt fit my window, it is right too big for two panels, and too small for just one and the slider behind. Would not buy again.

I use the to vent the laser enclosure I made. Allowed me to put the box in the house and vent it out the front window. It's worked well at keeping the fumes on the outside of the house, not letting them seep back in. I used the 4" adapter to my exhaust fan, so I can't really say much on the hose that came with it or other attachments other than the 4" adapter at the window. The wing nuts seem to hold the window pieces tight and in place during use. Came with a window seal, but since I'm on the first floor, I don't use that and remove the plate from the window when I'm done engraving.

ive used those other air conditioner window kits and this one is just better. very happy with this, and would suggest for summer exhaust needs.

Does what it's supposed to do. Installed in winter and it doesn't seem to let too much cold air in plus it comes with sealing tape. This is my first time using such a device, so some clearer instructions on how to install this in the window opening would have been helpful. The reason to give this 4 star instead of 5 is because I wish the device actually attached to the window frame, but instead it seems to just sit in the window frame, so it could be easily knocked out and is not very secure against home intruders. Glad it comes with extension kit and different size options. Hooked up easily with my 6" exhaust duct. Quality feels good.

the description says it fits a 16.9" window so I figured my 18 inch window would be fine. Unfortunately where the hole is cut, several inches from the bottom, it makes it impossible to slide up an extender enough so that its not covering the hole. Right now one piece leaves a 1 inch gap at the top. I'll have to return this and keep searching.
