This iron is a great value. Its well built and solid. It warms quickly, has great temperature regulation with clearly marked degree settings, a long flexible chord, and sits very stable on the bench. Highly recommend this iron for the DIY ski/snowboard tuners.

It's a wax iron don't over think it. The base heat is -/+ 3 degrees from dial set which is more then acceptable.

Tried it once so far on my old board. Heated the wax evenly and retained the heat quite well. It has lots of heat setting and it easy to chance on the fly. I will update this review to 5 stars if it lasts at least a season, or if breaks I will also update appropriately. It heats wax, and does it well from my short experience so far. The shipping box was undamaged but the item box was half smashed in as if someone sat on it, so for now its only 4 stars.

The look and feel of this iron gets it the five stars. I was looking smooth and attractive attempting to fix my skis. However, it did not straighten my one ski. To be fair the ski was bent pretty good. I’m going to try again later on the highest setting.

They sent me a used one instead of a new one, you can see the stain on the iron. The iron works good.It too late to return because I bought it over the summer, I should have checked.
