I bought a hub with two sensors to detect leaks on a guest bathroom that we don’t use very often.This product does what it is designed to do perfectly.The hub connected to our WiFi network seamlessly. The sensors paired with the hub quickly and reliably. The written instructions were easy to understand, and the mobile app was easy to use.The sensors connect to the hub using a long-range wireless protocol called LoRa, so you can put the hub close to your Wi-Fi access point, and the sensors anywhere in the house. Our hub is in a different room from the sensors, and there were no problems with connecting everything together.Straight out of the box, the hub and sensors provide alerts via email, text message, or a notification to the Yolink app. However, the sensors and hub don’t have an alarm built in, so you have a few options if you want an audio alert.You can buy a yolink siren that connects to the hub, and create a rule in the yolink app to sound the siren when the sensors detect water. The siren is not very expensive, and you can put it anywhere in your home - it connects to the hub.Or, if you have Alexa or Google Home devices, you can link them to the sensors and have them give an announcement when one of the sensors detects water. We have Alexa devices, and linking them was as simple as downloading the Yolink Skill, linking Alexa to the Yolink account, and creating an Alexa routine that triggers on a sensor event, and announces a message on all Alexa devices.The sensors can detect either standing water below or drips from above. They continue to send alerts while they detect water - at an interval you can configure - and each alert results in an email, notification, or alert to Alexa or Google home. So even if you miss the first alert, you will likely notice the subsequent ones.The alerts are delivered incredibly quickly - less than a second in my simple test - so even a bad leak can be stopped before a lot of damage is done.All in all, a simple, well designed product that is well worth the price for a little peace of mind.

Nice water leak system that is reliable and has long range. My 3 year old gave it a good test when we found him in the bathroom splashing water all over from the sink. I got a text and our remote Yolink siren sounded with a voice announcement telling us about a water leak. I was surprised to find my son quietly splashing water all over the bathroom. Glad it alerted before enough water would have been on the floor to leak to the lower level.PROS:- Works- Has water sensors on top and bottom of unit- Range is outstanding- Phone app shows you battery status- Includes hub, I would recommend voice hub and or siren output if person with app is not home so it can be heard locallyCONS:- None at this time

PROS: This product seems well designed and made. Installation was very easy and intuitive. The feature I was impressed the most with was the distance of the LoRa network - well beyond WiFi or bluetooth. I tested it and it worked reliably for 0.1 mile in an urban environment. I like that it uses conventional AAA batteries which are widely available and are supposed to last for over 5 years due to the low power demands of the LoRa network. The device works with Alexa and you can setup routines and notifications. You can be notified via app pop-ups, email, and SMS. I particularly like that you can even setup a "Critical Alert" which will bypass the phone's focus or mute settings. I have never seen this option in other smart home devices. Another great feature is that devices can be paired to communicate directly with each other. For example, if you have a water leak sensor and a smart valve, when a leak is detected, the sensor can communicate directly to shut off the valve, even if the power or internet is down.CONS: I took one of the water sensors out to test the distance and then it just stayed with me when I went to work. The sensor kept showing as connected to the hub even though it was well beyond range and clearly no longer working. It took about 6 hours for the hub to realize that the sensor was no longer connected. I even ran diagnostic tests on the sensor via the app and they kept completing successfully, even though the sensor was not even connected to the hub. That was disappointing to me and it made me question the reliability of the product. That's why I am knocking down 1 star (perhaps it should be more). One other minor nuisance was that in order to connect to your wi-fi, you need to have precise location services allowed. I have not seen that with any other smart home devices.

Tested in a few areas, a few drops on the unit alerted me right away on the app. Highly recommend

I purchased this product to replace an older water leak detector. The product was delivered the next day and it was missing the power cable. However I contacted the manufacturer and they shipped the power cable within two days. The set up was fast and very easy. Very satisfied with the YoLink brand.

YoLink's water leak sensor is very impressive and it's quite easy to setup just with a smartphone. It just took me 5 minutes to setup the hub and it's two sensors. All you need to do is connect the Yolink's hub to router through network cable, install YoLink app, create account, and add devices by scanning the QR code from each of the devices. It's a value for money and saves money on home insurance premiums too.I would definitely recommend to go with this product and I bet you will not regret it.

Super easy to install, looks like good quality components and it seems to work flawlessly. Very happy with the purchase so far! I love that the hub can be plugged into my router and the hub does the work communicating to the sensors. Range was always a problem with other systems I used and this seems to be no issue at all, even around walls and on different levels. The App is simple, easy to set up and works great. Great purchase as far as I'm concerned.

Already using this in my own home and got an additional one for my senior dad. Due to Covid restrictions I was unable to install when the parcel was received. Two month later I am ready to set up but olg contained only 1 sensor (instead of 2). I contacted customer service who promptly initiated sending a replacement at no charge. Received the second sensor and added it to my dads system. All working as expected and very happy with customer service. Would buy again.
