Marine Rated battery Fuses
Designed for the most demanding environment to provide high current protection for the tightest space constraints. Suitable for main and auxiliary circuit protection such as alternator outputs, starter motor inputs and accessory circuits. Alleviates having to make up a short wire to connect to a standard fuse block to the battery. Safe for installation aboard gasoline powered boats.
- DO NOT mount fuse directly onto battery post. Fuses should be mounted on the MRBF terminal fuse block. (See examples below)
- Ingress Protection: IP66, protected against powerful water jets

Application
Full range circuit protection for automotive and marine applications. The breaking capacity meets the requirements of conventional vehicle batteries and 12V, 24V and 42V electrical networks. Compact, high-amp fuse appropriate for DC Main, inverters, windlass, and bow thruster circuit protection. Provides high current protection in tight space constraints. Ignition protected when used with MRBF Terminal Fuse Blocks. Isolated stud design uses standard M8 hardware and permits stacking of terminals.

Installed a handful of these on the batteries on my boat, to protect the wiring (and the boat) from fire caused by short circuits. Very easy to install, and I have better peace of mind about the wiring.

Blue Sea makes some awesome products and their spark resistant fuse blocks are great and incredibly flexible.The small fuses come in many different amp sizes allowing the use on anything including loads over 200 amps.

This is a very high quality MRBF dual terminal. Both Bay Marine Supply and their competitors Blue Sea are both top quality products. You can definitely see and feel the quality compared to the knock offs that are cheaper. This lets you mount 1 or 2 fuses up to 300 amps (combined for 2 fuse applications) right on the top of your battery. This is the best way to go so that when you get a overload and the fuse blows it protects all your wiring right from the battery.Now the educational side of this review:This NOT A TERMINAL POST! repeat NOT A TERMINAL POST!This does not conduct electricity up the threaded post, it is purposely insulated to not do that UNLESS YOU HAVE A WORKING FUSE INSTALLED!If you are in need of a terminal post on your battery either buy a marine terminal or a military terminal - this is what they are designed for!To buy this as a terminal post and then leave a one star review is completely unfair.It would be like buying a pillow and taking it home and trying to pound nails with it. Then coming back to Amazon and giving the pillow a one star review because it made a lousy hammer. When anyone with half an ounce of common sense knows better.So once again this is not a terminal post it is a high quality Marine Rated Battery Fuse aka MRBF holder. It's very good at what it was designed for.

The posts did not provide a good contact point I had to take my dremil tool and exposed the threads right down to the base. It has worked great since then
